Friends, 

I am a registered Nurse from Nepal trying to evaluate & work in USA. I did my PCL in Nursing from CTEVT in Nepal. I sent my evaluation package to CGFNS they rejected twice my transcript stating that,

" Full transcripts from your school of nursing. A transcript may only be acceped if it includes the name of each class and the number of credit hours/course hours received upon completion. Please remember that we can only accept transcripts which are directly sent from the school to CGFNS; we cannot accept transcripts send by any other source. Please forward the enclosed "Request for Academic Records from to your school and request that they send it back to ATTN:CES."

I tried to contact CGFNS to kno what exactly they want but I am not able to do so. 

I am very much sure that my brother made the school send the transcripts but I don't kno whether the college filled the forms correctly.

My questions...

- Does CTEVT or My College fill the that "Academic Request Form" 
- What exactly does they need ? (The transcript or marksheets of each year)

I am very much frustrated. I would much appreciate any help or guidance. 

may be u need to convert the transcript marks to GPA system...ask them if that's what they wanted...if so then you can send it to one of those agencies that do GPA conversion that will show credit hours n stuffs like that...

don't panic ,cgfns will again send the evaluation paper to ur college and ur college has to fill it again and send it back to the cgfns from where u had applied it..now this time u call ur college and ask them to send themself  via simple registraion mail and not to mentioned any personal name outside the envelope..(which DHL does,so don't ask them to send through dhl).i know in this case ur college is cooperative to u.
the most important thing is that the date that u have mentioned while applying for cgfns must be the same that ur college will send to the cgfns.so remember the date and ask ur college to put he same date in ur cgfns paper..otherwise they will resend it again.good luck

@daffodil - one of my friends was in the similar situation before. she completed her 3yrs ctevt nursing in Nepal. she then received the same letter as you stating that the transcript issuing institution has to fill out the form (the form that you get with the letter) and sent it directy to them. that form will mention what courses you took. also they have to include the original copy of the final transcript (not the copy of your original, they'll include another copy of orignals. however, they charge you for that). all these have to done by ctevt (i think they're still in Bhaktapur) and not the college that you attended. this is really important to understand because ctevt is the one who issued your transcript not the college.

however, unfortunately in her case, her 3 yrs degree was evaluated as high school equivalent of US. they didn't accept to transfer any credits at all.

btw, when you sending letter from here, always do send through dhl. if you post it, they might never get it. also, once ctevt completes, they'll stamp the envelope to make it official and have your brother again sent through dhl to cgfns.
