the SERVICE of Qatar Airways OFFICE in KATHAMNDU IS too of no good..its even worse ..SUCKS..really..

they think all coming to their office to buy the ticket are laboreres and treat like one.....especially the lady  that sits on the 'privilege' counter no. 4..what a shame on the name of 'privilege' if they do not even know how to treat their 'customers' with respect and speak in a tone that is customer-friendly....she has her long unhappy ugly face hangign their..NOT EVEN a smile..AGAIN the bottom line is :that 'b*tch needs to be  sacked immediately or taught how to speak to customers...

QATAR AIRWAYS TREATS all the middle-class lookign NEPALESE AS LABORERS be it in  their flights or in their offices.,....................shame on you gusy/girls workign for this bullshit airlines...

you dont' have to be anyone to earn 'respet' or 'service' that you have come to pay for and are buying the ticket to fly on their airlines..and they forget that its the same money that they are paid as their salary..so they are eating our money and instead 'mistreating' us..god..

QATAR AIRWAYS (DOHA-KTM) and (KTM-DOHA) really SUCKS

well. guys wait a sec..........Qatar airways service on the route doha-ktm and ktm-doha really sucks....unless you act like somebody said above 'as from the US/London as a Westerner'....this says it all..i.e. if you are not one you are 'mistreated' and b*tchess do it...they thinkg 'all the nepalese on board that route are 'laborerse' and they treat you like shit..real shit....unless you are a kuire or if you act like one...shame one you my friends..that you have to 'act' like a westener to 'get' the service that you have paid for...LIKE EVERYONE ELSE...be it a laborer sweating in khadi..after all he is a nepali and he has paid as much as you have paid to be on that flight. so EVERYONE DESERVES TO be TREATED EQUALLY..no matter who or what you are........

the airhostess:

1. don't even bother to smile after you cross teh gate of the plane while boarding..they don't even direct you to your seats. not even to old ppl..or first-timesr on the flight..they JUST STAND THEIR WITH THEIR LONG and UNHAPPY FACE...

2. dont' talk to you properly..even if you try to smile and talk to them in english..

3. after serving the food, they disappear. and come later only to collect the dishes. its beacus they dont' want to serve you extra water or juices..unless you act like a westerner :-) as someone said above.

4. while serving..they 'throw' the bread/buns to you..dont' even bother to place it 'decently' on the plate..god ! like beggars... the b*tches..

4. if you ask for something, they say its' finished'...and dont' even apologise.. they think we r 'begging' with thiem..b*tches they are paid by the money we pay to fly and they think we are beggars...

5. as i said. they think al the nepalese ppl onboard are laboresre and think theat because they work in 'their countyr' they want to treat us like one....sickening...

6. ITS JUST NOT FAIR GUYS..everyone who is in the flight together with you, no matter where you coem from either US or london or Rome..everyone deserves to be serviced equally and treated nicely as a 5 star airliner....but they dont' ...IT REALLY HURTS my friends..it really DOES. after all we all are Nepalese, (no matter what) on the fligth and everybody has paid to be in it..so why do we have to 'bear their 'insulting treatment'.......

and its the SAME IN THE KTM_DOHA route too........

i see there somebody writing in the name of qatar airways..please take time to read my posting..i am wriitng for real..if not. ask the ppl who fly (normally) on the route may be not from US/London..there are many other countires that this airlines serves to right ?

I pray to god and wish we could be flying our own national carrier and be a proud nepali flying on a nepali-airilnes..alas..

One more thing guys...Kathmandu is one of the most lucrative route for Gulf Air, Qatar air few other middle eastern airlines company.

Whether he/she is labor or businessman, all shall be treated equally when same damn heavy money is made to paid.  Now onwards, lets not travel via Gulf route. Shame on you arliner. What a digrace??

Forget about airlines, when i went to confirm my ticket in Quatar Airways office in Darbarmarg, the lady there talked to me so very rudely and ask me to present my Passport, visa papers etc whereas it was only a confirmation i was looking for. She also told me that if i did not get those docs, there is a chance that my ticket is calcelled, can you imagine and all said with a very arrogant and humiliating nature. I felt like slapping there right there. This is all because of lack of competition, i hope other airlines fly the route too soon.

Now onwards, lets not travel via Gulf route = I agree with u danphe.

if Gulf airlines are have lucrative business in Nepal and let them see how it is lucrative when no one is making reservations in their flights.

just like sheetal, i went to their office located in fron of TC college. there were two girls with smug look on their face. i even told them in their face - can't u smile?? do u know anything about customer service? no change in their expression and one girl said, america jana payo bhandai ke saro ghamand dai ko re?? i had a nice chat with them gave them a advice or two. while walking out the door, i was thinking, like all other things, we lack in pleasing customers too.

Guyz wait a minute...Its me who is working for Qatar Airways, KTM and im not saying that its the best airline that operates to and fro KTM. But then again with the number of labor transport that we have from our country, the main thing that counts are the fares. I have myself flew quite a time with QA and i can feel the environment inside the cabin in KTM-DOH-KTM sector. But not all the cabin crew and stewards are to blame. I am pretty sure that u guys have urself experienced the behavior of the pax (esp pax who are travelling upto DOH as a laborer). KTM-DOH doesnt have that much prblm than DOH-KTM. Its always easy to criticize but when u go deeper into the reality, there is always a bitter truth. You might have also experineced urself that even before the aircraft is taxing onto the runway no matter how much the steward are asking pax to stay into their seats until the aircraft stops, the people are already onto the aisle infront of the exit to get out from the aircraft.

And as for the meal of the aircraft, they are prepared according to the preferance of the sectors the aircraft is flying to. If u dont want the normal meal u can always request ur preferred meal when u book ur ticket.

So guyz its ur perception of the airline. I am just requesting u guyz to think abt it. Its not me who own QA but then again i m writing what i knw abt the airlines.

Convience Nepali Netas... now prachanda & baburam to go after Nepal Airlines. Buy a few Jets and start servicing Nepalis, who now a days are all over the world. I guarantee if they start 1 flight a week ktm-ny-ktm ...that will go fully booked. Corruption needs to be controlled. Look at Indian guys, they have direct  flights to India from almost all over the world & they pay less. Nyc-del-nyc is about $899, if you put little effort. Delhi is in same distance as Nepal if flying from US. BUT we pay twice as much.... why ..cause we dont have our own airlines..

Think about this.

If you act like a labor, talk like a labor, behave like a labor, stink like a labor....... what do you expect to be treated???? I flew twice on QA didn't have any problem.

i appreciate your response and thanks. good that you are aware. I hope your boss also reads Sajha and is aware of the issue.and IMPORTANTLY, ensure that such mistakes are not repeated.

and good to know that you atleast accept the fact that such things of unprofessional treatment by airhostess, has happened/or happens, though you justify it for the 'reality' of the behavior of our uneducated brothers working in khadis. which is a shame. the treatment are simply 'unjustifiable' for a 5 star airliner.

BUT MY FRIEND, what do you say about the treatment of some of your staffs, may be not you (to the customers who come to buy/confirm/upgrade privilge club etc) in your OFFICE IN Sundar Bhawan. do they also 'jump' around in the a/c room as they wait for their number in the que in front, decently. and before  i forget tell that lady (rai/gurung looking, ugly) in the upper left coutner no. 4 (privilege club) (i wonder if she still there) to behave well and know how to speak properly to a customer. if she does not know, then you better replace that place, man, atleast i can see that you are a good professional ! (from your posting)..

well, i know the environment in both the DOH-KTm and KTM-Doha sector. the noise, the 'halla khalla' people calling out names, not listening etc..........but I believe your 'airhostess' are supposed to be 'trained' to handle situations in every way possible, including uneducated, sick, old, talkative customers,  If an uneducated nepali does not understand the 'instructions in ENGLISH' he is sure to be nervous to get out of the plane first, because his colleagues might already be in front......i guess...or they are excited or whatever......  its for the airline to deal, may be have 'instructions' in "Nepali' or have a nepali airhostess (not so proudy) take time to 'calm' down these people and understand..rather than 'stay away from them' and act like 'un-touchables' to them and the rest ....But why do your 'airhostess' need to get annoyed (since the beginning, while boarding) and not even smile, with each and every nepali passenger (who may not look like a westerner)...and does not smell like one..why ?  if somebody misbehaves later, act with him but don't show your anger to all  by throwin the 'buns' to the one sitting on the window seat from the aisle, man !..its disgusting. not even a 'smile'.

In addition, you can advise the MANPOWER companies, to 'orient' the outbound ignorant workers on the flight etiquitee..how about that ?

ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT passengers coming to aisle around the exit, while the plane is not fully parked, is A COMMON SCENE in other SECTORS and AIRLINES too, not only Qatar. i have flown many and know this for a fact. Every passenger, especially flying to their home country/port does this...i have seen it man...this is not the excuse. It depends on the airhostess, how they 'ask' people to be seated, professionally, rather than misbehaving.

the point is its really 'unjust' and 'frustrating' to see the airlines treating the nepali people like shits, (both on board and in the resv. office) though you ppl have your salary paid , on the money that we 'ALL" pay be it laborers or somebody else. and you know for a fact that this is one of the busiest/profitable route for you guys.

EVEYONE  whether he/she is labor or businessman, equally pays the damn heavy money to fly- and deserves what he/she pays for???after all you are doing a business. 

the last posting, well dont' forget your 'past' man just because you 'smell' like and know how to 'act' like a 'non-laborer' now ! and for a fact, nervous first-timer nepali laborers dont' know how to 'act like' a laborer man, they are just 'simply' innocently nervous and don't know what to do ? that's why they get act weird, probably.

I can understand all the Emotion and sentiments. I myself feel bad abt this and its not that the QA hasnt trained the manpower and everything. But then again i am quite sure u also know that we nepali are not eager to learn. Its not that the first time flyer to khadis only behave that way but my friend we have come thru many returnees and frequent traveller to khadis doing the same.
Talking abt the city office, u might not know that for the convenience of the pax QA is the first airline in Nepal which is well organized. There is always some places for improvement and we are continously trying to meet that. As being one of the member of QA i sud say sorry on behalf of that lady to u if u had any kind of inconvenience in our city office. 
These days the returnee pax need not come to the city office for the confirmation until and unless they need to change something into their ticket. And u knw what, other airlines are trying hard to move onto our footsteps.

As for the flying experience, i am quite sure u fly a lot as u said. Then again its us working for the company come to face those kind of pax everyday. I am not just trying to complain but if u come to any airlines office and sit there for couple of hrs u will urself experience what we are talking here.
