I have been watching ANA BB thread  in sajha.com for a quiete long time. Now its time to talk about olympic basketball. Who do u think is the favorite to win gold medal? After beating Greece comprehensively today ,  I think USA emerge as clear favorite. However the result might be unpredictable and teams like Russia, lithuania and Argentina might succeed at the end.
One more thing which i couldnt figure out is why US team shoot poorly from 3 point range. It should have been cake walk for them to shoot and make 3 pointers in FIBA games, as NBA range is more than 3 ft longer than FIBA court. They did shoot up high percentage during FIBA America but that was the only instance when they shoot well. Even during Athens olympic their pathetic 3points and free throw made them to pay for only bronze. The trend is continuing in China too. I would like to see reason and logic behind this failure from fellow members.

I support spain.

I would like to see America lose this time as well.. but that might be difficult but wow what a news that would be. The next game will definitely be one to keep an eye on (Spain Vs. USA). I think i probably will go with Argenitnes simply because despite good players in Spain, i think their main leader the Laker second fiddle Paul Gasol lacks heart to lead them past USA. But in the case of Argentina they've very physical team and tough team. Manu Ginobili is definitely capabale of leading his team to Gold medal past the Americans. That would be my choice.
