   i have one problem. Made h1 through indian consultancy this year and don't have paper yet in my hand.I am trying to get that from him.Earlier i told him i will go to nepal for vacation and i will put stamping at that time ..that was back then june/july. Now he is asking me to send him the appointment date or letter for visa interviewing for h1b to him and he will send all the documents into my address.I just want to get all my h1b documents but he seems to be bit cunning.Is that we can take the appointment date for interview to the embassy and latter cancel that ..by anyway i want to have my documents as i may change the company too..I just need suggestion..

I don't know whether you can make an appontment in KTM earlier or not but if they are taking appointments then you can always cancel it later. However if you are planning to change employer then you only need to provide a copy of the approval notice and your pay stubs. Don't you even have the copy of your approval notice? The employers are required to provide you with the following after your approval comes through;

-  copies of your I-129 forms

- copies of your labor certiification

- copy of your approval notice

Lawyer usually get one copy of all the paperwork that  your company get from USCIS. Try contacting lawyer, he may be able to give you the copy of your H1, so you can transfer to other company.
