I dont know if it is the lack of knowledge of girls or thier lack of seriousness. We have seen so many threads in sajha. When the country is burning the war and is very critical juncture in its history we see very less participation of girls in such thread. It is an irony that so called women leaders wants 50% quota in parliament of Nepal. If there is a thread of sharukh khan, or jhon abrahim or kasauti zindagi ki , we see such thread being flocked by girls.

Well, Bidhanji, It is far more intellegent thing to do that than thrashing each other in the name of religion, caste, race or pradesh or whatever... By the way, we beleive in action speaking better than words...

sndy. there is nothing worng in posting own views and not eveybody has thrashed other in the name of religion, cast. There are some very intelligent posters. Sajha is not only the platform for girls to show their flirtiness but also is a platform to show their ingenuity and depth of knowledge in differnet aspects. Something that is directly related to us.

maybe girls like to talk about issues like that on the phone with their friends than post on a public forum like sajha.. I am not trying to generalize here but you can't say that women are not showing interest in political issues of our country just because they are not active here in sajha.. btw, you said yourself that your thread is better than half the threads here, I wonder who posted those threads..

Well elpida . no. Even in my workplace i know they have complete apathy to what is going on in the country.May be this is how most of the girls are made of. One of my collegue was more interested in shilpa shetty winning big brother than big chaos in her own city. she was kind of searching news of shilpa in every websites and newspapers. She finally woke up when she heard that somebody threw stone in her home during madhesi andolan.

Hey bidhan, You need to understand taht not only nepali girls...girls from developed country like USA For instance..like guys dont want to talk abouth movie stars and dress and hairstyle and other things that girls do......Girls also dont want or do not have interest to talk abt politics, sports, and current affairs...they dont care whats going in the world...They are sensetive in the nature...You cant blame nepali girls..All the girls through out the world are same....

I agree with everyone plus women in every country are still less educated than male. Female in general are less exposed to the outerworlds. It is easy for the normal educated female to follow the movies, make-up and other stuffs. It is only the highly educated women who want change in their lifes are voicing their voice in any country.

Bidhan !! Just cause they don't come talk to YOU or does not participate in YOUR discussion does not mean they are not intelligent or lack seriousness.
