Maoists are fooling the UN arms inspectors. They have started buying cheap weapons in Bihar/UP/West bengal. And they will surrender 'these old weapons' in front of UN inspectors. They have got safe houses arround Kathmandu where they hide their more modern/new weapons. People have seen when Prachanda comes out he is surrounded by maoists with AK47s and M16s. They have now entered the parliament and want the post of Deupty PM. JUST HOPING THAT SOMETHING HAPPENS TO GP AND THEN THEY CAN CONTROL NEPAL. THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS NOT BEEN FOOLED BY THESE TRICKS IS THE US AMBASSADOR MR MORIARTY. TO READ ABOUT THIS go to Asia Times and see article by Druva Adhikary in South Asia section. WAKE UP EVERYONE TO FACE THE MAOISTS TRICKS. I am sure something bad is happening???? DOES ANYONE KNOW MORE??????????????????

KK, what do you want us to do then? form another militia against the maoists to revolt, kill more nepalese and push nepal further down the drain? if you don't trust maoists or any other parties, don't vote for them -- simple! :P LooTe

Awareness is better than ignorance. Maybe we can't do nothing about it, but if somehow we do come into a situation where your choice affects (even if a lil bit) then u'll know to make the right choice.

LooTeKuKur: you are 100% we can do nothing, agree. However, the point here is 'cheating' in name of 'weapons surrender' FOR A SINISTER GAME LATER ON. What we can do: SPREAD THE WORD AND SEE TO IT THAT THESE MAOIST TERRORISTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FORM A GOVT OR PARTICIPATE IN ELECTIONS UNTIL AND UNLESS THEIR 'GENUINE WEAPONS' ARE ACCOUNTED FOR (AS FAR AS POSSIBLE). That is all we can try & do. Zaurav: Yes, you are right. WE CAN ONLY BE AWARE AND DO ARE LITTLE BIT AS EDCUATED PEOPLE. So the future of Nepal is safe. Let's spread awareness. By the details of the article: Asia Times dated Jan 23, 2007; click the 'tab' for 'South Asia'; article's title: NEPAL LEAPS INTO UNKNOWN by Dhruba Adhikary.

I like the thread. Its always good to have knowledge.. Judging if it is true or not is upto your own intellect. There is nothing wrong in putting forward your opinion.. that why sajha is here for!

" what do you want us to do then? form another militia against the maoists to revolt, kill more nepalese and push nepal further down the drain?" No body needs to push nepal further down the drain ...it is at the bottom:) revolt against maoist ?????hell no...all nepalese should just do whatever they say, right? "if you don't trust maoists or any other parties, don't vote for them -- simple! :P" GOOD point looote ..that is how it is suppose to be right?well , Who needs vote ???They will rule even without getting a single vote. GATHER 35k ARMY what percentage is that out of 25 million .To justify the 73 seats in parliament!!!!!!!!that too without election..and the way it is going now ..WHO ASSURES THAT THERE IS GOING TO BE FAIR ELECTION!!!!

The job for the Maoists is not done yet... As they promised early in the 'People's War' they have to carve out autonomous regions for different ethnic groups in Nepal....and this job not completed yet...for that reason I dont see much reason to give away their weapons..
