Highway-star, The first thing is if your friend is going for graphic designing, and she has bachelor in arts there are less chances to get any credit transfer. Your curiousity about document evaluation, won't cost you that much. I been thru that all before. I had bachelors degree from nepal with very good GPA, but I decided to change my major here it was slightly related. still I coudn't get any credit transfer except 3. To find out how much it gonna cost for evaluation go to this site http://www.wes.org/ . This is the official site of World Education Service. and the evaluation type you have to do is Course to Course evaluation. Thats all I know about it. And if you are going to continue same major, chances are high of getting more credit transfered. Hope my words will be helpful for you. Good Luck.

By the way, this process I'm talking about is for USA. I don't know what is the process in other countries, I'm pretty sure Canada has the same process as US.

Thank god, nepalese were not the evaluators at my school.

My education from Nepal was accepted here, and I didn't have to join high school here.

Number of credit transfers will depend on the school you're applying here. Even if you got educated here, and want to transfer to different school, they may not allow you to transfer all the credits. So, you've to talk with the school you're applying, but you've to send certified copies of transcripts first.

A friend of mine wanted to transfer from community college to low-ranked school; the school was ready to accept 1 credit as equivalent to 3 credit hours from his education of community college.
