I breezed through the World Water Day, almost with a nostalgia in me for the name of the day. Today all of a sudden I realized how difficult it is for my mother back home to get a ghainto of water. She wakes up at 2 o'clock to see if the tap has started running. It is a shame on me. And it should be a shame on all sajhaites, too. How fast we humans forget bad things... our folks care about the king and his adventure, but what about the people... This World Water Day is so much a matter of concern to every Nepali, and yet we almost forget this kind of things. Maybe it makes sense to rally a mass of Nepalese living in the DC area, fully equipped with a playcard each, asking for water for the people of Nepal and send a select delegate to meet the officials of the White House pledging the president for providing clean drinking water for us in Nepal. It is better to ask for water for the people than power for our king! (Forget about peace for now.. it is nowhere in sight)!

OUCH WE NEVER THOUGHT OF IT.. Look at it from a different view... the rich fat Americans and Wannabes out here don't need to get water from gagris ...cause they worked hard enough laready to pay for water bills... Your mom on the otherhand does not have to spend mony from her non existing paycheck to go for gym, eat healthy food and have a healthy piece of mind...beacuse we nepalse out there what money can't buy here...loads of vegetable gardens, daily home cooked food, excerzise to live longer and love and respect that we lack out here... what suits out there doesn't suit here..everything is relative...but of course we are all joining hands to make it a better planet ......as for gyane dahlings lets give him a li'l time before we go back to our homes from here

Khai maile "HP" aka Hushpups le middle para ma ke bhanna khojeko nai bujina. I think testdirector wanted to express his uncomferrtableness of reminiscences of his mother's hardship & toiling and reminding us that while we 'bark' about this & that, we do not have, forget about 'safe' , but even enough reasonably drinkable water supply. Agra ko kura gagra buje ki moile, hoki ke ho. Bhandai mero dui sabda yehi tungauchu. Jai Nepal Indisguise:)

Hushpuppy, how old were you when u came to US? And also, u must be in that particular area where water was not the real concern. Your different view is so full of crap. You said "the rich fat Americans and Wannabes out here don't need to get water from gagris ...cause they worked hard enough laready to pay for water bills" you mean people in nepal don't pay for water bills you think we get it for free? What do u mean by hard work... u mean nepalese don't work hard enough just to get a gallon of water? And you said "Your mom on the otherhand does not have to spend money from her non existing paycheck to go for gym, eat healthy food and have a healthy piece of mind" what do u mean by healthy peace of mind? you think they have peace in their mind? People in nepal is not healthy because they eat good food, they look healthy cause they can't eat good food.. and may be in ya sense just because they ain't fat you can call 'em healthy... We are skinny cause we have no nutritious food. Its eally easy for you to say these things while living ya fun-filled easy life in US. And don't give me that crap about 80 hrs/week working and studying at the same time. I did that too and it is far more better than a life in Nepal where u "even" have to worry about some simplee daily life stuff.

then why the hell people in nepal are forever sleeping and forever complaining...instead of pouring tears over nothing..why can't your mom and bunch of other moms in the neighborhood jointly ask the mayor/government for some money and with li'l bit help from dadsss' pockets they could dig up a hole in the ground and get a well and ask then to fix a genarator and pull water right into the kitchen taps...helloo..get moving or stop complaining... sure you have a problem and so does everyone else...then FIX IT !! Dear dear dear if we didn't have problems in the world we wudn't be here to solve them... ok if my first suggestion seems too dreary...save $2000 bucks = 140,000 rs from one month pay send it mom and get the well yourself..what better gift can you give her this New Year's???? Happy New years to ya'll too.

Alikati gari cha. But well, right words but wrong place. Ho ki ke ho. Ani last para chai 'gathi' kuro ho huss pups ko. If someones mom is "stil" going thru the same hardship. I thought he was talking abt long long tyam back ( I know situation in general is no better. Am just implying in his case). Aba chai ekchin "bhachi" aka break linchu/dinchu. Dherai bhayo, hehe. UBIQUITOUS states,"People in nepal is not healthy because they eat good food, they look healthy cause they can't eat good food.. and may be in ya sense just because they ain't fat you can call 'em healthy... We are skinny cause we have no nutritious food." Keep makin moronic statements like above pretty soon you'l be graduating from Graduate school for MORONS. So you mean to tell me that our culture and society have survived hundreds of thousands of years without eating nutritious food ? Those strong and brave Gorkha soldiers are not eating nutritious food ? Wow I did not know that. Water is generally free, untill you lay and pipelines and put meters on them. You can goto Hudson or Charles or Danube and get a jug of water..won't cost u a dime. But If you wanna lay a pipe..then come the meter.. then comes Economics. So your justification of water is WRONG. In the villages ppl fill their Gagri's for free from the rivers and lakes. You seem like a sensible fella but please THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE AN ASS OUTTA YO SELF.

Yeah Chakman, I am makin' an ass of myself while makin these statement for the erudite person "your name gives the whole overview" like you. Yeah, I already graduated .. and for being a moron.. pershaps u can tell me better how my comments sound so vile to you. Anyways, people make comments but your imprudent comments has no significance what so ever. Nepal has the most contaminated water, 42% people are living below the poverty line and you think its better to live in Nepal with so called "free water" facility that they are getting... U just make me laugh. You Said, "you mean to tell me that our culture and society have survived hundreds of thousands of years without eating nutritious food ? Those strong and brave Gorkha soldiers are not eating nutritious food ? Wow I did not know that." Just grow up kid. Survival don't need a nutritious food.. every food has some nutrients.. and just to live you can have anything. Nepal has one of the worst cases of malnutrition.. Life expectancy is Male: 59.73 years and female: 59.06 years. So, we don't even live more than 60 years man.. you talk about ancestors. And your crap about gorkha soldiers is so funny .. they are and were brave because of their boldness and courage not because of their food u fool. And Hushpuppy.. u've been so americanized ..girl or maybe u have not been to nepal forever. You said, "why can't your mom and bunch of other moms in the neighborhood jointly ask the mayor/government for some money and with li'l bit help from dadsss' pockets they could dig up a hole in the ground and get a well and ask then to fix a genarator and pull water right into the kitchen taps" People tried so many times...u thing it is that easy to ask the government for money... it will take years and at the end they will give you some excuses and your idea will be gone with the time. And not all the people has their dad pocket money to dig a hole for the well. And Hush.. i am talkin about all those mom who has hard time every morning to feed their kids and families.. not only about my mom. Not everyone kids are studying in US like you who can send $2000... see the whole pic dear... I am talking about the country which has 47% unemployment rate... and can't afford to utilize your idea. Hope u read more and learn more about nepal... and don't think about upper 5% of Kathmandu while talking about nepal.

Every food has some nutrients ? He he Thanks for letting us know O LEARNED ONE. "Nepal has one of the worst cases of malnutrition.. And your crap about gorkha soldiers is so funny .. they are and were brave because of their boldness and courage not because of their food u fool. " Well well well, if they were so malnurished they should not even be able carry their equipments and ammunitions when they are in the battlefield could they ? Instead they got all these Victoria Crosses for bravery, or was it that they were soo thin the bullets just wizzed by or was it that they were a hard target because they were sooo thin ..ha ha ha YEah those soldiers could still muster up all their courage from their malnourished diets. He he PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME MORE WITH YOUR HIGHBROWED ADMONITIONS. Hey chakman i didnt know blind swine goes on babbling jibberish... thanks for the new discovery channel updates. We must identify a cause before we can pinpoint a solution. And since you can't identify the cause u seem to give the solution so hastily. I think CHAKMAN' you must be going through Character Dificiency syndrome.. cause you show all the characteristic features 1. Naive Fool: who is unthinking, gullible 2. Self-Confident Fool: known by his stubbornness, and by his big mouth. 3. Committed Fool: who has decisively rejected wisdom So, get help and then talk about Nepal. You think we don't have any problems with food and water in Nepal.. have u ever been outside kathmandu? and Hush... Thanks for the history lesson... may be u can be more vague.

Ubiquitous Moron ! I see u'd taken writing class and know how to itemize yer points too he he GOOD PIGGY .....Identify what cause ? We are talking about price of water once again IGNORAMUS. And I have the deficiency ? huh ! I dun know why u have to project your image on everyone u talk to MR KNOW it ALL. Have you even looked to the current events ? I don't think there is not one single country in the world that would not eventually have fresh water problem. With the human population exploding and the natural glaciers depleting you are going to have water problem regaadless of where u live(on top of that we are landlocked). Like KTM where the whole infrastructure was built to support the ppl of KTM(hundreds of yrs ago). But with migration of villagers to KTM for betta life has put a squeezeon the infrastructure and its resouces. BUT THAT WAS NOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT Mr HAREBRAIN. I WAS TALKIN ABOUT WATER AS IT IS BEFORE THE HUMAN CIVILIZATION PUT A PRICE TAG ON IT ...MR TROGLODYTE. Are you gonna keep calling me names or are you going to counter my argument MR I KNOW EVERYTHING ?

Damn, i can't beleive i'm talkin to such a dumb person. When did you just talk about water... look at ya previous post before u tell me what i should be tellin you. You were the one who became offensive before i was even talkin to u.. so just cut the crap. Ain't u the first one tellin me i'm a moron and yadi yadi ya.. And i'm really sick of your two word "Harebrain".. never heard anyone saying that before.. hahaha and "Ignoramus"... Don't u know any more words than those two... this shows how ignorant are you. Your zeal towards me cannot be understood but surely does calibrate your intellect. Perhaps u can try becoming more comprehensible next time. May be you have heard about this nepali proverb: "Sisa ko ghar ma basera aru lai dhunga hannu hunna" .. so don't say i am givin' you names cause you were the first one who was so generous in giving me pleasant names like "moron". Hopefully u'll quit buggin' me.

And about the argument.. there is no argument.. u'r two cents ain't credible. I was sayin in Nepal we don't have good drinking water. Forget about good not even just water. And suddenly there comes your contemptible comments on how Gorkha soldiers were brave.. and how nutritious our food is.. and blah blah. Do u understand the the words comin outta my mouth? Did i say why we have to pay for the water or any sort of pipelines. I was just sayin.. we have water problem.. and our families in nepal is having a hard time just to acquire a handful of water and not every family is so wealthy to dig a well. READ CAREFULLY BETWEEN THE LINES YOU DUBMASS.

As now it is clear, it's everyone's mother, or father, tht has to worry bout the shortge of water in Nepal, acutely so in KTM. Water in Pokhara, Trishuli, Bhirahawa etc is at least as bad as in KTM, I've lived all over there. This is a national problem requiring billions of dollars and a huge number of engineers, biologists, geologists, hydrologists, coordinators, economists, accountants, planners, environmentalists, doctors and other scientists and professionals collaborating together in tandem rather than one guy's dream job. The point I was trying to make was it's a paradox we have to waste our time for bringing peace to Nepal rather than to our stomach. ----------- Like anyone in KTM, my mom has this problem and she is, like many others, equipped with all kinds of hydrolic gears. Because these equipments are not fully automated, she still has to make sure they are functioning well in the middle of the night, a nuisance even by American standards I believe.

Haarey Sheeba yo gaadha lai katti choti samjhauney ? Kukur ko puchhar 12 barsha samma soojhyaipani bango ko bango. THE INFAMOUS UNIQUETIOUS STATES THAT OUR GURKHA SOLDIERS ARE MALNUTRITIONED. HE HE Tyasailey hoola tyo fully nutritioned Quireys ran away because the malnutrioned Gurkha's chased themm, You tell me Moorakh," khaali peet ma kasari war ma janney ?". Tyo paani moora quirey haru ley talai Nutrition bhanya key ho bhanera nasikaiko bhai tailey khaneykura bhanya dalbhaat baheyk aruu kehi thapaudaina thish ! Badaa aaey nutrition sikauna. We have water problem KTM cause Paakhey's like you keep moving to KTM. Water pipes and sewage system designed hundreds of yrs ago is not sufficient enough to support the current population. Thats why people like you keep dinnging holes the day after the streets are paved YOU NINCOMPOOP(instead of looking into cause of the prob). With the himalayas and glaciers we do not lack water in storage at all but we lack the resources to bring to the necessary places like KTM where there is a shortage. The our landscape does not make it any easier either. I AIN'T BUGGIN U ONE BIT BUT YOUR LARGER THAN LIFE EGO KEEP BRINGING YOU BACK HERE. IF YOU REALLY THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME THEN YOU'D LET IT GO. BUT YOUR EGOTISTIC NATURE CAN'T LET IT GO CAN YOU ? C'mon make yourself feel like a man and call me a few more names.
