I'm just wondering how effective are Facebok ADs at sending Facebook users to any online store if you are selling any product/merchandise online. Help this rookie please.

Depends on what you are advertising. Your turnaround will be 5-10% link clicks of the total market reach(these are juss the clicks to your ad not the sells). How ever your market reach will be huge. I guess you have noticed in FB where there is sponsored ad. So if you click on that ad it will be counted under that 5-10%. Even though you dont click it you can still see the ad. This is good medium to reach to your target market as when you are advertising you can advertise per the geographic region (such as US or NewYork, US), age variation (24-45), people interests (camera or smart phones or nepali language) and so on. Or you can target to your friends friend. There will be option if you want people to click on the actual link or you want people to like share your link. I would say its a great medium to market your product where your target will know about it. But do not be over excited that your sells will sky rocket with it. 5-10% are people who are wanting to buy similar product. So they will probly click your link and see what you have to offer. After this its your price and product that will determine in making final sells. If you are trying to spread your word then go with Like/Share. Or, if you are trying to make some sells then go with option to click on the link ( this will offer them option to click the link to your ad to be directed toward your webpage) Hope this was of some help

Thanks dude, I appreciate your insights. I've started my first test run a couple of days ago to run for just over a week. I've been running my test run primarily based on similar interest(s) to a particular age group. I'll be tweaking my test run AD as I go along.
