Data Analysts are experts in mathematics who can solve complex problems and have solid computer coding background. Problems could range from predictive analysis, recommender system, anomaly detection to ..... machine learning or deep learning (image analysis, neural networks, etc). I have seen data analyst requirements from industries involved mostly with life sciences, finance, eCommerce, GIS, etc; they mostly use R, python, MatLab, Spark, SAAS.. etc
