guys i have applied for an engineering degree at Idaho state university. i dont have any friends there and i have no idea what to expect. i would be really grateful if some of you could provide me information about this school. i am not getting any scholarships for the first semester, but this advisor told me i have more chances for instate tuiton if i score a GPA 3.0 or higher in the first sem there. are we (engineering students) allowed to take 18 hrs per semester. how easy/hard it is to get an on campus jobs? how cheap/expensive is the living? do ppl work off campus too.. how many nepalese do they have there???


i know im gonna get a lotta jackasss answers, but i hope there are few decent ones out there. i really need to know these things before i transfer. please help me out guys

its a good place to be in. It's little harder to get on campus job very beginning but u will find it. There are about 40 neplese right now.No one work off campus. Living is pretty cheap and i think  if u have decend GPA u should  get the in state right now too..goodluck

ya, it is preety good place for student, the chances of scholarship is also higher and u can get non resident tuition waiver which could lessen your tuition fee to much extent. housing and other activities are not difficult as there are many nepali students to help u ,
