$22/hr on w-2 re. Chor haru. Who is gonna come to you when most Nepali consultancies, especially the new ones are offering $35-$40 for those that recently completed their training? This reminds me of one instance in which an acquaintance was offered $6/hr at a gas station. Nepali lai Nepali le nai lutchan ani dhoti ko sharan ma nagayera kata jaane?

Protsahan re? Funtush tori le funtush nai kura garyo. These consultancies make anywhere between $10-$30/consultant after paying $30/hr. $30 ta thorai bhayo, $22/$27 re. Why should they go with these particular conmen when they can make way more by getting placed by any other consultancy? Yesto daylight robbery garne lai nirutsaahit parne haina, bahiskaar garnu parcha.

Though i am not in this field, i find it totally reasonable. No fake resume required, only MS work, excel ( yo ke ho ? SAP etc etc chahine hoina ?), no other computer knowledge needed. And, $22 a hour is more than double of gas station attendant or super market cashier etc. Bachelor degree and unemployed dherai dherai chan/

Point noted. I probably overreacted but 6 weeks of 'training' would suffice to make $30/hr. In any case, if you have 1 year of experience, why'd you wanna go work for these guys when you can already find a ton of jobs that'd easily pay you at least $40/hr (especially on w2)?

riddle ji, Very much excited by seeing your info here. With Bachelor degree and limited/basic data base skill and 2/3 month experience, can you really make $30 an hour? That means $1200 a week and more than $4800 a month, which is ~$60,000 a year. Kasto company ma pahincha yesto ? Seriously interested. Please provide some names, if you have any. Thanks

laure, no need to put "ji" behind my nickname. You might wanna save it for bakamfusres working in govt. offices. The point stands, why'd you foolishly wanna work for a consultancy that only pays $22-27/hr, that too, after 1 year of experience when you could make 2-2.5x more while working for other Nepali consultancies. If you can't come up w/ a name of consultancies that fulfill such requirements, renumeration et al, I'd be happy to google it for you.

Riddle, 1-2 yrs is considered as entry level...look at the requirements first....do you think u'll get $40/hr with those reqs. I think $22-$27 is fine in this case...can you tell me which field will pay you $40/hr i.e $80 k annually for 1-2 exp job reqs...? i am willing to apply those jobs.

I suppose I'm professing the wrong crowd or you lot are being really anal about this. I got the requirements he/they seek - 1-2 years of genuine experience to which I said, nobody in their right mind, especially someone who's already got a h1/gc/citizenship would wish to work for them for $22/hr when they've not already gathered relevant experience (compared to those that are pretty clueless having never worked in a proper job, let alone corporate settings), but also having already learned the tips and tricks about padded resumes/proxy interviews and all the other good things. (All that said, I really hope I haven't opened a can of worms. The last thing I'd want is get into a pointless debate pertaining to morality about job holders associated with both fake and genuine experiences).

A good friend of mine is making $40/hr as a QA after 1 year of genuine experience (of course, he was hired after "7-8 yrs of experience"). Data Analyst would've probably made 45 bucks an hr (if not more). Let me know if that interests you, Junkie.
