With less than 3 weeks before the goal date, we are still $1700 away from the goal of $6000 for the Dil Fund

In 2 days we raised 50% of the goal but things have slowed down drastically after that!

Living in US, every once in a while we feel like making a difference and contributing to do something for Nepal. The reason sajha is taking this initiative to raise the money is because, Dil Shova has stepped up and done something that noone has. She has actually taken destitute elderlies off the streets and brought them to her home to attend for them. She deserves any assistance that we can send her.

Let's show our support and help meet the goal. Some of you reading this may already have given and some of you may not have given. Please take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and give anything you can $10, $20, $50 or anything you are comfortable with.

I've been watching its been slowed down after couple of days we'd started fund raising programme. I would like to request all of sajha frens, help request for Dil fund is equally more important than whistlin for shristi Shrestha. So please keep sharing about our Dil fund via facebook, twitter and other social media.

This is the proof that Gulf countries send more money to Nepal than USA. Nepalese Americans are not the one who are helping Nepal's economy. and They are the ones who shout for dual citizenship.

Agree with you Atomic. Instead of spewing venom against fellow Nepalese and making unnecessary statments,lets keep sharing about Dil Fund on  Facebook  and other social media.

Shame on Amri-Nepalians.

Its really unfortunate that people didnt spread their helping hands.

अस्ति बिहीवार विस्कनसिनको गोली काण्डमा मारिएका सिखहरुको आत्माको शान्तीको लागि शिखहरुद्वारा गरिएको एउटा प्रार्थना सभामा पुगेको थिए । कति अनुशासित! कति सहयोगी भाव भएका मान्छेहरु ! हो त उनीहरु पनि हामी जस्तै मान्छे नै त हुन् नि तर उनिहरुको एकता देखेर म दङ परे । कसरी चलाएका होलान त्यो भव्य र बिशाल गुरुद्वारा ? त्यो गुरुद्वारामा जाने कोही पनि भोको पेट फर्कन पाउदैन । अनि कोही एकलाई आपत पर्दा पुरै समाज एक हुन्छ । हरेकले सकेको सहयोग गर्छ । मन मनै सोचे हामी नेपालीमा त्यस्तो किन छैन ? कुनै एउटा पूजा गर, कुनै एउटा साँगितिक कार्यक्रम गर, कुनै एउटा सामाजिक सहयोगको प्रस्ताव राख, यहाँ जहिले पनि सहयोग गर्ने हात भन्दा अर्ती दिने र कुरा काट्ने मुख बढी हुन्छन् । यो भएन, त्यो भएन, यसरी गर्नुपर्छ, यस्तो हुनुपर्छ, त्यस्तो गर्नुपर्छ..... आदी इत्यादी । शायद हामी नेपालीमा निस्वार्थ भावले सहयोग गर्ने संस्कार नै छैन जस्तो लाग्यो । हरेकलाई नाम चाहिन्छ, हरेकलाई मान र सम्मान चाहिन्छ । खै बुद्धले त परोपकार नै परम धर्म हो भनेर सिकाएका थिए, हिन्दू धर्मले पनि त्यही भन्छ । तर पनि आफ्नो जातियता र पहिचानको लागि भनेर एक आपसमा मारामार गर्न सक्ने तर एउटा परोपकारको कार्यमा सहयोग गर्न नसक्ने नेपाली दाजुभाइ दिदी बहिनीको बारेमा सोचेर मन खिन्न बनाउनु बाहेक के नै गर्न सकिन्थ्यो र ? एउटा खिन्न मन लिएर फर्के । सगरमाथाको उचाइलाई सम्झे, गोर्खालीको वीरतालाई सम्झे, तर त्यो खिन्नता कायमै रह्यो । साझाद्वारा आव्हान गरिएको यो दिल कोषमा सहयोग गर्नेको संख्या हेरे मन झन विरक्त भयो ...
