The following bands did the opening:

1. Namaste Band
2. Robin & Looza
3. Mangolian Hearts (Raju Lama)

Abhaya and Steam Injuns could NOT get to perform due to time issues.

The organizers, two Nepali event management companies, put on a really fine show: the show went without hiccups, and the crowd behaved well. The moon-lit night and the open sky (with stars above) helped set the mood and the tone. [The 40+year-old Rangashala turned out to be an appropriate venue, despite various misgivings earlier in the week].

Brian Adams started at around 7: 45 pm and ended at 9:40 or so.

He performed all his classic and signature numbers, and he started with Bob Seger's "Ka-ka-ka Kathmandu"

Needless to say, Brian and the band's performance was 100 % pure entertainment.

Today's papers report that many foreigners, i.e. Brian's fans, living in other countries (Australia, Hong Kong, India, etc) had come to Kathmandu solely to attend the concert.

Kathmandu, it seems, is ready for such international-quality concerts in future.
Hope to attend other such concerts in future in Kathmandu
