I got this picture of Nepal where a lonely monkey is sitting on a branch of a tree in swayambhu taken by one of amateur photographer and now this picture is in the New York Insititue of Photography International Contest.. I believe we should back this picture... Please vote this picture .. Hope this might be the final one to make in international contest if we vote this one..

There are two utilitarian theory in biz: Rule and the other one is Action. I will opt for Rule. I would suggest people to vote the Nepali Picture only if you feel sure that it is best picture not because it is Nepali, but because it is best among all pictures in the competition.

Can we stand on this principle? A few years ago, I saw similar wave of requests to push a Nepali song in top 10 list at BBC.com, and it succeeded. Yes, it happens in US's TV program: the IDOL real show. Hawain did such campaigns. This just makes us dissatisfied when someone else does the same tactics.

So, lets not be blindly part of this voting campaign.

I know that munkey, his name is buddy. Usually he goes that dry branch at the evening. You can see him at around 5 pm there.

Swambhu Nath (http://contests.fotki.com/nyip/mainstreet_sort17/205925919.html) is in the 4th place with 165 votes in MAIN STREETS category..
