Guys, I want to know if any of you have bought Fannie Mae 's stock share ? Here in my work, my coworkers are going crazy buying Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FMCC) 's stocks.

They are saying both stock price will climb sky high in a few months because the court will rule in favor of shareholders soon. Right now the price is around $1.90 / share, they are saying it might go as high as $40 / share soon.
I just bought about $10,000 worth of FMCC but I want to know few ideas from you guys before buying more.

There was strong support at $2.18 but too many shorters and profit takers instead of buyers , it didnt hold the moving average. Guys, wait a liitle bit to buy this, unless another round of good news are not coming to attract a lot of buyer this will go nowhere. This happens for all stocks where Government has involved.. Trust issue , wallstreet and buyers not easily trrust government .

WTF?? What just happened to FNMA? It went down to 0.001 for a bit. Now it's showing 2.15.
Jeez, I am glad I don't have this.

I will buy FNMA when the price come down to 99 cents.

guys, news came out DC court denied Government request and in favor of shareholders and today stock went almost 12%, There is resistance and $2.49 once it cross , it may touch $3 by eow, volume is picking up so this might be good entry point for y'all but do your own research before you jump at the end of the day its your hard earned money, happy trading y'all..

So, if the court rules in favor of the shareholders of FNMA and FMCC- what does it mean to the shareholder ? How does that help to soar the stock of FNMA/FMCC ? Any insight on this ??

Microbiology, I am not financial guy so I cant tell whats going to happen on price by financial updates (since FB buyout lot of new companies around and Income reports etc are coming ) but I do a little bit of technical analysis , from that I can tell you, for a while the price of FB is going nowhere just around $115-$120, see below on the chart the bearish cloud is getting bigger and wider and price of FB is on the trend of moving under that cloud(if price candlestick are above the cloud, thats the buy signal) and there is big resistance to cross the cloud, it needs big catalyst to cross that resistance..hope that helps.

@nepalibudho, not up super fast but new support has built on $2.35 as long as its above that price its healthy, slow and steady pace can win the race and its always better than pump and dump.

Which broker do you guys use ? How's the commission rates you're paying ? Any recommendations?
