I am little confused here. I am staying in US, and confused whether to give my US address ( which might change) or address of Nepal while filling out DV form. Can you guys suggest!

 

Also is it OK to take photograph from our normal 5 MP digital camera or need to be done in the studio by professionals?

 

Anybody been through this situation? Pls help!

You may give your Nepali passport address if you are in tourist

or student visa. For Photo, I would go to the studio rather than take a

risk by submitting phot in wrong format.

If you are good in photoshop and can make sure the resolution, size of photo, dont need to go to studio.
About address, better to give US address, negligible chance of letter getting lost. Just make sure u will be in that address until July. Also u can check whether u are selected or not in the lottery, online..starting this year.

Can any one tell me what should be the resolution of the picture. i searched the official websight but the only info i found was that the size should be 600 X 600 and should be 24bit colour.

oh hero bro, Give the US address if u are in US. If you give the address in Nepal, you may not be sure your letters are delivered properly even if you are selected. It does not matter where u r living currently, u r frm nepal so u can apply. So give US address but make sure that your address does not change till the result is over.

The photo should not cross 240 kolobytes  in size. I think rockey was looking for this!.
