Dear friends,
Namaste

I am planning to  participate in the Pollination
Ecology Conference and Ecological Society of America
meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin ,USA( Aug 2-3 and 3-8
2008).I am trying  to search the financial sources for
travel grants .

There is very limited study in the field of
pollination ecology/conservation biology in
Nepal. Since my M.Sc.thesis( in 2001-2003) I have been
working in this field . Now,I am representing the
whole South Asia to present the paper in the
Pollination Ecology Conference .

I request you  to provide the information and ideas
along with the sugesstions for the sources of fund to
bear the travel grants so that I will be able to
participate in the conference in US. Moreover, I am searching some helpful friends to

share his/her rooms for few days(1 wk). Accomodation is not provided to me while staying in US

I am waiting for your positive response as soon as
possible.

Sincerly yours

you also have to worry about transportation,  since public transportation very bad here.  taxis are expensive.  i suggest contacting university in wisconsin, if you are presenting your paper there.  i am surprised to know that you are representing the entire south asia and they can't even provide you a living expense or reimbusement for the accomodation for the short amount of time.

Hi Subodha,

Will you write your email address in the post?

I saw there were some travel awards that you can apply to in the ESA website, but I am

not sure if you qualify for one of them. Deadline is June 27th. Below is the link for

the travel award
