I heard that florida team has few national players from Nepal. so, they can be a surprise team of this year.

I heard its on league come knockout basis. It needs a lot of stemina to play 2 game per day. On top of its 90 F..................

Casey, do you have any proposals regarding how ANA Sports Committee should divide those teams and play  them against one another for maximum competition?

I propose,

4 groups, 3 teams each (one team will have 4 teams). Group winner will go to Semis (knockout stage).

This is good because each will get to play at least 2 games and the winner wont have to play no more than 4 games to win it all.

    Casey, going by your proposal there will be (6+3+3+3=15) games on the first day(League Stage- each team plays every other team inside the group). Two games on the second day(Semis). Finals on the third day. But do you think they will be able to conduct fifteen 90min games on the first day?  In order to do that, they have to have at least four fields. Do you think they have four fields available in the vicinity?
    If they can conduct 15 games in a day, i think they will be able to conduct 6 games on the second day. So Quarter final ( 2 teams from each group) stage is possible too. Quarter finals in the morning and Semis in the evening. Just that the winning teams will have to play at least two games on the first and second day. And that's tiresome. The organizers have to devote a lot of time as well. Remember we tried to do that in dallas and they were playing until 2am in the morning. To rent four fields for the whole day, it's gonna take a lot of money as well.
   Your proposal of one team from each group is not bad either. So that the winning team plays only one game the next day. Let's see what happens. I haven't heard anything from anybody yet.

you are correct, it makes first day hectic BUT it is a fair chance for teams traveling so far, I think they should have started this thing from thursday...why not?

( 4+4+2+1 = 13) games from recent format, which not  lot less than 18 games, I think it could be worked with 2 fields and expanded playing schedule.

   Casey, the games start from 12pm onwards. So they can play only 4 consecutive games in one field given that they stop playing around 8pm. From your format, i came out with 15 games on the first day if each team plays every other team inside that group. 6 games from Group A with four teams. 3 games from Group B with three teams. 3 games from Group C with three teams. 3 more games from Group D with three teams.
   Either one or two leading teams from each group proceed towards the next day.
   Btw casey bro,  do you have any insider info about the fields?

League is a great format if ANA can pull it through because our team spends more than $15,000 just to come play during ANA.

I dont bro, heard they were trying to rent Towson Univ. field but no success. I dont see any fields near by either, I hope its a good facility.

I am really excited about the tournament this year, 13 games my god. I wonder how many of these teams are really legit contenders. For us anything less than a championship is failure.

We are not a re-building stage so to speak, more like Phoenix Suns. All the talent but unexperienced and young.
