After reading/watching/listening many interviews of this so called rising political leader 'Upendra Yadav' I was not convinced with his ideas, thoughts and principles. Most of his answers were illogical. Just like hawa /dadagiri guff.

Just for example
Bhushan dahal asked 'Will you (your party)defend Nepal if India attacks in Terai (border of India) ?
His answer 'Dedh lakh Nepali senako ke kaam'

On BBC, Shushil Sharma asked 'How will you cope up with your arch rival 'Maoist' in same govt?
His answer 'Forget the past' (Just that??

And there are many other examples I can provide here. I think Nepal and (mainly Terai part) will definitely suffer more with suck kind of leaders. He vows he is fighting for Madehsis people but what he really has in agenda for Madheshi/Tharu/Baadi/Raajbasnhi people except shouting ten times a day 'EK MADESH EK PRADESH'

welll, im not at all against Terai/Madesh party but this kind of leadership will not work in long run.......Yes we will surely see that..

Answer - भाषा हो जे बोलेपनी भयो नि, हिन्दी, मैथली भोजपुरि, नेपाली, अङ्रेजी। भाषा त एउटा माध्यम न हो  (How could he forget that Hindi is a national language of other country and at the same time, if he is really cares for Terai/Madhesh, why cant he just speak in Maithali or Bhojpuri).

It was the dumbest answer Ive ever heard (remember : millions of Nepalis r watching the show)

I was there at NRN program on Jun29 (If I remember it correct), 2007 at Los Angeles, None of his answer were sensible.
I have no doubt, Koiralas created MFJs to neutralize Maos, they never even thought this would uprise to this extent, atleast even Upendra Yadav never even thought to be where he is today. I guess hindi movies does influence our society, atleast terai in most part - (I am myself of terai, so I don't mean wrong on that).
He was asked simple clear question; You cadets obstructed highways and tortured many in recent days; Are you following path of Maos? He chuckled and gave his microphone back. The whole room yelled at him to take that mike back and answer it right. He then said, "we had to do so because even Maos killed our cadets", or another answer was "aba hernus hami pani college ma huda hungama garthiyau" and returned mike again.
I wish he could have been what people of Terai have expected him to be, however they are in illusion. Hes in fact full of it.
He said, hami lai madhiseeeA.., na bhannus , call us "Madhesieee".
Sujata tried to keep in touch with him to have control over that faction incase Congress could get towards Royalist, but later when they found themselves too far away, they just gave up enough to stand against each other - Sujata and Yadav from same Constituency, and she even lost to him. He did say that he had good ties with Sujata at LA.

To be a leader , only thing you need is followers.  And recent poll showed clearly that he has his share of followers.

I dont like Upedendra Yadav as leader, as politician, or as a fellow countrymen. But still I will applaude him for the specatular success in CA poll.

Well the person who can really answer impressingly is Kamal Thapa. but well he is not a popular leader right?

Terai people or Pahadi People, our main language is nepali, everyone should speak nepali, anyone insisting on speaking Hindi should be declared a Traitor and hanged in Tudikhel. How can you say you are a nepali if you can't speak your national language.

I agree with fantas, this is the result of Congress and Maoist giving out citizenships to over 1 million indian's a few yrs back. Now it has come to bite their ass.(or say all nepali's ass)
Mofo's didn't want to give Citizenships to all the refugees of Bhutan(they were foreigners, but hindi speaking dhoti's were considered nepali)

I dont blame Upendra Yadav for talking in Hindi. What did you feel about Prachanda giving interview to Aaj Taak Channel in Hindi. Its just happens in Nepal. Whenever any Indian Media comes to Nepal, everybody tries to speak in Hindi. That is just Bulshit.

 

First of all, can you please name one political leader of Nepal who have never used Hindi while speaking to Indian media. Please name just one leader. I don't care if it is from Congress, UML, Maoist, RPP or any other leftist or rightist parties. I have heard so called communist leader like Lila mani Pokrel, CP Mainali, Narayan Maan Bijukshey, Prachanda, Babu Ram Bhattrai speaking Hindi in their interviews to Indian Tv channel or BBC Hindi services. So, stop complaining Upendra Yadav for using hindi when he gained popularity in Nepal due to Indian sympathy.

Secondly, Mr/Mrs/Miss Amazing, have you ever been convinced with the ideas of Prachanda or Babu Ram or KP Oli or Ram Chandra Paudel. Are their language less dadagiri or have better idea to create new Nepal.

Stop creating negative impression about Upendra Yadav just because he looks more Madhese than Pahade. Madhesh uprise was because of these wrong perception of Pahade community and will hurt the long term peace of Nepal if your notion is not corrected. Stop accusing someone of wrong doing just because he looks different than you.

deshbhaktanepali, I was thinking not to dig this thread but after Im forced to. Well,  i was not talking about those old leaders, did I say that Im convinced by other leaders? Donot just make guess. Here, I am talking abt Upendra Yadav becoz he is a new leader and many ppl (Esp from Madesh) have great expectations from him and he could be an important player in Nepali politics thats the only reason Im concerend abt him.

Then on what basis u have claimed that Im making negative impression abt someone, then how come u blame me for talking against Upendra Yadav, u blame I m doing it becoz I dont look like him. So u r 100% sure abt my uprising and looks?
