Just by contributing your earning equivalent to one hour, you will be able to educate one child back home.If you earn $10 or more per hour and have strong desire to educate one poor child back home, you will be able to do that.
Nepal has just about 4000 villages and I believe, we have more than 4000 people in USA and Europe who earns more than $10/hour.

Just one hour a month...you do not require to find NGO or anyhting for doing this...Just chose one child from a rural area and take responsibilty to educate him/her..

That's what Nepal needs....neither Prachanda nor Gyanendra...

Realis,I would like to thank you for being positive in this effort. It is time to do for the nation. My try was to intiate the people in this venture and I think, people are comming aggresively to this good cause.

It is not wise for me to disclose what contribution I have done and how much do I make.My sole purpose is to initiate people .People want to do for nation.Nepalese people are very kind but they do not know how to go agressively on it.

I don't want to keep you in more confusion;Yes,I make more than $10 hour and it should help you to understand about my contribution..

Thanks everybody for being so kind and generous...

please storm your brain here on,,how we can develop our society? country?
by educating these kids? by protesting on street for development? by supporting prachanda, gyanendra, girija, madhav nepal? by being against those guys?
OR JUST BY IGNORING ALL THESE AND PICK ONE KID FROM OUR ONE VILLAGE AND EDUCATE THEM VERY WELL WITH JUST A COUPLE BUCKS A DAY!
Share your thoughts, which is going to be highly appreciable by the whole country......

Hi String and all

I am in favour of educating child in a direct aproach basis rather than going through NGO and any Non Profit organization...NGO and Non profit organization will be a long process..
But still, wants to input from Sajha Users and all who are in favours to go ahead in this ventures and have a common consensus how we can effectively do this to change face of nation in 10 years from now..

After getting inputs from all of you guys,I will come up with proess and contacts for doing this...

Hi nanu,
I don't know what your plans are but if you want to join SEBS-NSP program, I can guarantee that your money will be directed towards the person you want. If not, let me know.

In addition, I am leaving for Nepal this winter and if you guys are really into it, let me know and I can work on that while I am in Nepal.

Peace
