Allright i have been using a Pocket PC for a more than couple of years, A HP IPAQ WOULD BE A GOOD ONE IT IS GSM/WIFI/BLUETOOH its pretty cool but the procesor is little slow so you might for now want to go with Cingular 8125 or Tmobile MDA (which is HTC Wizard) which has has the same processor little faster and biggger memory, I like the pocket PC by Palm treo but its verizon and does not have an WIFI, If you really have the money you might want ot get a HTC tytan, you can find one on ebay for like 700 bucks its has all the feature of cingular 8125 but has a better processor. the Processor in the HTC wizard is just 200 MHZ but its a dualcore processor one core is responsible for phone operatoins and the other one is for the OS

this should help u

I recently bought an iPaq 6515 and so far I am pretty happy with its performance. My network provider is tmobile and since they do not directly sell iPaq, I bought an unlocked cingular iPaq. I love all of the standard features/applications that come with windows mobile. The built in GPS receiver is very cool and works well with MS pocket streets, free download for iPaq customers. The only thing that this model lacks is a built in wi-fi but the product itself is much more stable than the previous models (6300 series). It supports EDGE and GPRS networks for data transfers. The bluetooth seems to be little flaky at times. If you can wait few months then I would recommend HP 6900 series which is 6515 + built in wifi. If you absolutely cannot wait then 6515 is pretty cool. You can always gets SDIO wifi if you really need to have 802.11x.

Red:

If you will be mostly want to use your phone in the US, then the best bet will be Wizard (Tmobile MDA or Cingular 8125). The other one which is Universal (xda exec, Jasjar, Tmobile MDA Pro) is little too big for the phone. I do own both the Universal and Wizard, and of course I love the Universal which is simply amazing, but now I don't use it as a phone but more as GPS Navigation, and others stuff.

But Wizard is pretty good as well. There are quite a few tweaks that you can do to all these HTC phones and if you decide to get one of these let me know and I will be happy to help.

Lifedrive by palmone is a good choice, it has a fast processor and whopping 4GB internal harddrive. It comes with builtin WiFi and bluetooth. and the size is comparable to the HP's ipaqs.

If you get the wizard (either Tmobile MDA or Cingular 8125), you can easily sim unlock and will be able to use it in Nepal without a problem.

If you don't mind a larger side Phone/PDA, the universal (jarsar, xda exec) has a very bright VGA screen and you'd love it.

RED

if you want

fast processor (400 Mhz +)
wifi
blutooth
Phone
good battery life

than wait a little bit more, cingular is comming out with a Cingular 8525 ( HTC Hermes) its the same thing as the 8125 but has a faster processor. I am waiting for this pocket PC as i have HP 6325 and i find the processor sluggish which is the same processor on Cingular 8125

I have read all the reviews all the PDA's and i find a PDA with PHONE/WIFI/BLUETOOTH/IRDA suits me a most and and eliminates carrying of two or more devices.

Pocket PC has hot swapable SD cards so you dont need a PDA with Big drive in it. You can always get coupe of SD and i dont think you will be needing more than 1 GB of space

other important thing is the battery life all the pocket PC with big processor like the Intel X-Scale eat up the battery life. so balancing the power and battery consumtion is important for a pocket PC

then the other important thing is the Phone feature. Thre reception and the call quality needs to be reviewed.

hope this helps you a little
