3. when birendra died the the heir to the throne should have gone to shruti. as shurti died as well so i guess her first daugthter should be the queen. shurti's daughter is elder to poornika.


this is getting very complex. since many people still has faith on monarchy so we cannot abolish it that quickly. unless people vote and the refrenndum decides we dont need monarchy.

i think it is a diplomatic way of making Paras the future king of Nepal. As the king's power was decreasing, the uncertainty of Paras being the future king was increasing. There had to be made some changes to make Paras the future king, as people were looking for other options. I think this decision was made so as to divert people from the original issue of whether they need a king or not, and to make them feel that "oh its changing!!" 'coz Paras would still be the future king this way. I think the ultimate aim was to save the throne for Paras...just my view hai feri:)
