Sajha has grown through leaps and bounds and their is no limit to its extent. But like any uncurbed kingdom, it would see its downfall if the citizens don't exercise any kind of caution during their posts. I am not trying to be a preacher here, but it kills to see some postings that are open to viewers of all ages.
SAN, may be you should have some volunteers to "monitor" the posts, the way they have in chat sites. Also, there are key things we should think of before our posts:
1. The site is open to all, keep in mind that kids frequent this site.
2. Forums are means of open discussion, not for your 2 seconds fame. Hoax, meaningless posts are annoying, not fun!!!
3. Have compassion on what the previous poster has posted. Do give sometimes on reading what others have already entered before. Many times, posters just barge in to give their 2 cents. I guess it helps to keep the posting as short as possible as well.
I have no intention on preaching these etiquetts but get frustated sometimes. Hope you comprehend. You could add your points too.
