We need to get rid of this tyrannical government, but when are our so called democratic leaders going to understand the anti-autocratic public sentiments and start a revolution in a systematic way. This is right time to start a revolution to get rid of aristocracy.

What is holding our party leaders from declaring a revolution against the king? Our current leaders have a history of bowing to the palace at crunch times. All of them have as many skeletons in the closet as the king. Most of our current leaders were respected freedom fighter during the panchyat regime. But after they came into power, they reverted to the same old system of corruption and nepotism. People have seen them get their hands dirty once they reached the gold bag. They know that the nepali people hate the politicians more than anything else. Is this lack of respect from the people holding the politicians from declaring a revolution against the king or is that the politicians don’t have the guts to put their lavish lifestyle in jeopardy and fight for the nation? In either case they should step down from the leadership and let the new generation lead the nation. All of them are at the latter end of their human span. They made all they could make out of the people. They could do one good thing for the nation at their old age and handover the leadership to new breed of freedom fighters. This is the only way they could get back their lost glory and make a name in the history of nepal. I hope sometime in near future they will rediscover the old selfless freedom fighters inside them and help to start a massive revolution against the autocratic system in nepal.

Sorry, Buddy, I could not disagree more at this point. History is witness to the popular movements which have toppled far stronger military power than the F***ing RNA. This is ripe time, i think, for Nepal to take a qualitatively sunstantial step forward. Every incident seems to be adding to the declining credibility and morale of the Royal regime.

guys,
lets focus on what is going on with Jr. lord Buddha. Why are you talking about Politics? Please do find about the truth about Ram Bahadur Banjan, who has not been eating for past 6 months.

OK, what about this people.

I saw a picture about last year or so. It was a picture from the protests during the Orange Revolution in Ukraine. It was more like a huge sit-in.

The remarkable thing about this picture was that there was this woman giving flowers to the police. i thought that was very impressive. they protestors were protesting the government, they did not want to fight the police. i thought that was a very symbolic thing to do.

why can't this be in our case? the policemen/women are nepali too. and there is no need to fight these people in a protest. i think not fighting them would be more effective!

kaso?
