Hey guys, If you know the answer to my question, Please help me out - much Thanks! Can a GC holder remain out side of the US for an extended period of time - lets say 1 or 3 years - due to employment requirements?? Does it make any difference if it is a US or a non- US employer?? Thanks again! -HF

Yes, but it has to be US employer. Otherwise, it would not make sense to the US Immigration. People can go to Nepal for extended period and show papers that it was due to work while coming back to the US...
