Korean Soju Korea bata Austin ma udne Tarkhar ma? Go the SIXTH STREET. That's the place to hang out. It might be very hot out there these days. So, go to Iron Cactus (in 6th street) in the evening. Have some Mexican Food with Margarita on the rock. Then go to next block and have some big pieces of pizza. They are tasty. Last but not least, go to graduate school (rest. obviously) and dirty dog for couple of beers. Have a nice trip Korean Soju. If you are in Korea, then take some Sojus as a gift. Enjoy! daum

And, for shopping...... rent a car and go to San Marcos. If you have no time then do visit Round Rock outlet.
There are also few good restaurants near Hayat Hotel. Don't waste your time eating too much....drink drink and drink ( i mean alcohol) until late night that's what I did. They were good days. There must be our other sajha friends living in Austin. Wait for more info from them.
Cheers!

I think pyaradeshbasiharu has a pretty comprehensive list, but I would also like to add: - Mt. Bonnell - Stevie Ray Vaughn's Statue at the Lady Bird Lake. - Trudy's for Margaritas - I like the Oasis, but the food's not that good, we usually just go up there for the drinks and the sunset!
Have fun in Austin :-)
