I am planning to go to Canada in this Spring break to have get together with my uncle and my friends.

I am in F1 status. What are the procedures i need to follow and the documents needed.
Suggestions will be appreciated.

I believe you are still have student visa. If so, all you have to do is get visa from Canadian Embassy (I believe in Chicago). You can get 6 months for lesser value or longer for more money.

For entry, make sure you have all the paper work like I-20, letter from student/ international advisor regarding your present status in the school. I would even consider a transcript as a backup paper for showing them (just in case) that you are in good standing and a good student.
