Hey all, I'm thinking about trading my car in for a Honda Accord, Nissam Altima or Scion TC ( '04-08 models ). I was wondering if you ( Honda Owners ) could throw in some reviews ( in addition to the ones provided by various websites ) about your vehicles. Think its fair to say that personal perspectives and opinions matter more than other reviews. Cheers.

Quagmire,
I got 2008 Accord EX-L and so far, I'm enjoying. No major problems so far. Some minor cosmetic issues, such as rear speaker rattles little bit when driving on bumpy road. So far, the ave. gas mileage is about 20 miles/gallon in city and about 28 in hwy which is obviously less than advertised. If you like steering really smooth, then Accord isn't for you. There steering is little bit harder and I talked to the dealer and they said it's one of their safety features. But, now I'm used to.
Nissan Altima is also a pretty good option. Good in gas mileage and comes with pretty good features. I wouldn't consider Scion.
Goodluck on your car shopping!

No doubt Nissan is the 1st rank of choice back in its origin country, but i think its fully assembled with computerised base system, in case of overhaul, you need to pay costly maintenances. I love 1.6 civic/2.2/2000 Accord ~ coz its pole navigators infront, feels like the "Senator car' but if you had the desire to own Accord, certainly you envy BMW that parked next door, hence by 2.2 Accord can run smooth likes flying on the runnaways at 190/km per hrs...... ... but of brand the Scion on that particular years, i have no ideas.... Bias to this economy downturn and petrols consuming, it is wise think twice for this Executive preferences...hajur.

Quagmire, I have been driving a 2002 Accord SE for nearly five years and am very happy with it. So far, I have not experienced ANY problem (unless flat tires count), and the odometer is ticking close to 100k. Fuel efficiency is comparable to what delicate mentioned. I would not doubt about the Altima as well. You may get an Altima with more options than an Accord for the same price. I am not too familiar with the Scions (they are Toyota products geared towards the younger generation and one model, I think the XA used to have the same engine as the Echo..so I would not doubt about the quality though) but what about a Camry if you are considering midsize cars? I also suggest that you visit edmunds.com and research the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) prior to making any decision. Good luck!!
