Leaders denounce Dahal’s statement

Leaders of all major political parties of Nepal except the Unified CPN (Maoist) have condemned Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s statement during a mass assembly Friday that his party is ready to talk with India instead of Nepali leaders for the cause of ‘civilian supremacy’ in Nepal.

Nepali Congress vice president Ram Chandra Poudel termed Dahal’s statement as an expression of defeated mentality.

The Maoists have called Delhi for talks as they have lost trust of Nepali people, political parties and the civil society, here, Poudel told the media following Dahal’s remarks. This will further increase foreign intervention, he added.

NC leader Krishna Situala said, the Maoists are blaming others to cover their own weaknesses by calling New Delhi for talks.

We all know that this is the truth, the truth that we dare not speak lest in public by a high profile public figure!

The Maoist party will get wiped out by the voters in the next election if they continue to act like crybabies. and I think that's what these other parties wanted. these parties know that Maoist can't go back to jungle and all They want to do is degrade the image of the Maoist party so bad that they get fewer votes in the next election. UML and Congress parties are very mature  in politics and diplomacy and they are definitely thinking about themselves on a long term at the expense of the stability and the progress of the country.

Maoist need to wake up and do the right thing (which is careful diplomacy) to win the heart and mind of common citizens of Nepal for them to sustain in this arena for a long period of time.

otherwise, RIP Maoist party in few years.

I asked same question to one of the Maoists and I had a big debate with him. Earlier he was saying, he follow Prachanda path for this and day..because of country bla bla bla..I kept on asking him further questions...guess what. At last he couldn't deny the following fact.

We follow Prachanda path because of various reasons like...
1. Before we were equivalent to dog on street. Later, we can be a powerful person
2. Money which doesn't need to be accounted.
3. Free sex with other members
4. property (if you reach to middle level leader)
5. free drink and partys
6. Freedom to commit crime. He clearly said "Who dares to arrest us"?
and more....and most amazing thing is, he doesn't feel any guilt for this.

lovenepalalways: I agree on what you said. at least it is true for majority of the foot soldiers of Maoist party.

Nepal has been put on SALE to india by the political parties, and maoists. That day isn't far when the average people of nepal will be begging for that transaction to take place as that will be the only option left for them to get rid of the strikes, crimes, and most of all to take their revenge on the all the netas who have shown no respect for nepal and its people.

it would have been nice to kick these netas in their nuts by having another brave son / daughter of nepal rule our motherland but since that's not an option (and if you think there still is that option than you are just fooling yourself and even a reality check won't help ya) being part of india is well worth it than to let these jackasses run around like their are above the law as to continue to suck the blood of average nepali people.

nepal being part of india is no different than nepalis living outside of nepal (as we live under a non-nepali rule). if we deserve the peace and freedom under a non-nepali rule, people in nepal deserve it as well. so i hope people in nepal realize this sooner than later.

looking at the video posted by damikattu it is clear that Prachanda is preaching to a group of uneducated people who have no idea what Prachanda is all about. Unfortunately Nepal is full of uneducated people who Prachanda can manupulate like anything.

Only way to fight this hypocrisy  is for educated people in Kathmandu to rise and show everyone what the reality behind Prachanda is.
