Did UN officials help Maoist fraud?

Maoists lied to Nepalis about PLA numbers. The UN verified 20,000 PLA combatants. The UN is famous for scandals like the oil-for-food programme in Iraq. Fraud about PLA numbers will likely cost Nepal billions. Did UN officials benefit and who should investigate the UN?

No. I believe it was just because of UNMIN that Maoist were never removed from list of terriorist list by USA. They didn't have any power to enforce anything anyway.

What about accountability? Does it not apply to the UN? How is it that they registered so many fake Maoist combatants? Nepalis deserve an answer. Instead of expressing concern, Ban Ki Moon should be seriously concerned about the UN's activities in Nepal. So it's OK that someone was killed in a UN monitored camp, it's OK that arms that are supposed to be locked up are carried around, now it's OK if there was a major screw up on the numbers? Yes! UNMIN chief  Ian Martin had a soft corner toward Maoist. As we all know that UN wanted Nepal's peace process to be a Model Process to be utilized in all the conflict-zones around the world, UN officials were too soft  in their handling of maoist combatants as they realized that anti-maoist people were too accepting to anything that stopped violence. Aftermath the revelation of Prachanda's video, I urge the interested party to initiate a process to officially lodge a protest to UN and demand to correct their mistakes accordingly!!!

For starters the UN should pay back the money which has been pocketed by the Maoists and they should hold a press conference to announce a full investigation of any wrong doing by their officials.

UN still talking about the peace process being wasted by prachanda resignation. Whats wrong with these people, are they trying to see a real disaster in nepal. These people are accountable for what is happening in nepal. They need to come out and give some clarrification on this. they call themself peace maker but i would say they are money maker nothing else.
