I was reading a new york times article

and saw the reporter's name as Abha Bhattarai. Sounds like a Nepali name to me. Now, I am not  saying it is a big deal or something. But NYTimes Reporter's job could lead to a prominent position in a society if she continues to rise up the ladder. Furthermore, it always feels good when a Nepali transcends his/her traditional areas (engineering/doctor/gas station attendant/student) and becomes visible, such as Kiran Chhetry. I have a feeling that second generation Nepali will be much more prominent, and they may , probably, love Nepal more than we first generation people do!:)

.I did some googling and here's what I found out about Abha Bhattarai. She went to Northwestern from 2004 to 2008. She wrote some articles for the student magazine in Northwestern. If you want to read the articles she wrote for the student magazine, go here. Here's a piece she wrote for St. Petersburg Times, a Tampa Bay magazine . If you go to the bottom of this article, you can even see her phone number. I am surprised that the magazine puts phone numbers in the articles. I think an email would have been better for privacy reasons.
