If you are graduating this May with masters,  you will be able to appy for H1b..

you have two choices..

1) Either apply from undergarduate quotat (for this you need to have 4 years degree from overseas + 2 yrs eperience)

2) Not sure, but you can get pre-certificate from your college and apply with that certificate.

For further information.. I'm copying and pasting my previous post.. hope this helps..

Dont' take my word for it.. its my assumption only.. also, contact this company http://www.NirvanaCareer.com They should be able to sponsor on behalf of you for undergrad or grad.. A friend of mine is getting sponosor this year with them for undergarduate degree (with no cost to my friend)

Good luck dude!

Check out this company http://www.NirvanaCareer.com

They will ask you when your OPT starts.. they will file for your H1b regardless if you are undergrad or masters as well. But limited quota.. 15 seats total and you must be a pro developer and experienced!

If you get your H1b, you commit for few months duration. Compensation matches industry standard with a min of 60k and no catch. They place u to fortune 500 companies.. so make sure u know how to program.

They also do require applicant must be Computer Engineering and Computer Science Majors (either from US or foreign country with 4 years bachelors holder/ Note: not 3 yrs degree) with a minimum of 2 years of professional proven experience.

My friend is being sponsored currently with them under undergrad quota.. so.. good luck..

Nepaliguy,

As per USCIS , you must have completed the requirements for your Master's degree before

April 1st(the date of application) to be eligible for Master's quota. So if you can do this

then you can provide the letter from the Registrar's office implying that you have completed the

requirements set by the university and waiting for your diploma to be awarded in May.

I did the same, I got my diploma in May but i had completed the requirements before April, so I was

eligible for H1B this year.

and as per BikashKC, you also have the option to apply for general quota , but with minimal chances of

getting selected in lottery.

Anyway, Good Luck.
