yea, blame on muslims; that's the last thing we needed; a call of bandh and a separate state from muslims. I blame it on everyone. Listen to today's bbc Nepali service, and listen what the CDO of the district and incompetent ministers like Gyanendra Gywali is saying. These people don't have any regrets for the incident. Instead they seem to be proud on being able to provide compensation of Rs. 10,000 for every dead body and Rs. 5,000 for the complete destruction of a house. According to public, police didn't do anything to stop the crowd. It's the same police who go to beat mercilessly on protestors around the Singh durbar, but don't have guts to stop the crowd. In BBCnews, the local residents were saying that mob might have been dispersed even if police just had fired the shots in the air. Even the victims from the first incident are equally responsible now because they recently beat the people from other group to death. A sick cop was beaten to death. Can we call human anymore? A huge shame! And here on sajha, some come and ask to stand up for pahadis or blame muslims. It seems to me that we all are responsible for this mess.

Ramdev’s Yoga class rescheduled due to security reasons; Maoists dismiss reports of ‘threat’::: Swami Ramdev, who arrived in Kathmandu on Friday, told Kantipur TV that they were forced to suspend it for a day upon request from administration."We were ready to start the Yoga session. But administration requested us not to go ahead. We also had meeting with Prime Minister and Home Minister in the morning. Home Minister told us that (security) situation will be ensured for Sunday and that he will himself be present during Sunday's opening session," said Ramdev.

Bandh hits normal life in Terai districts:::::::::::: The bandh (general strike) called by the Unified Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (UJTMM), a breakaway faction of Jaya Krishna Goit-led Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), had partial effect in some Terai districts Saturday. The bandh has mainly affected Mahottari, Dhanusha, Sarlahi, Siraha, Bara, Rautahat and Saptari districts where transport services remain closed while bazaars in major towns have been shut. Major highways linked to these districts wore a deserted look from early morning, reports said. However, there were no incidences of violence during the bandh. The two-day long bandh called to protest the killing of Mohit Khan, the president of Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha, in Kapilvastu six days earlier. Communal unrest triggered by Khan’s murder in Kapilvastu has claimed at least 31 lives.
