I don't sell calling cards or anything like that but just want to share and know what is the cheapest option to call back home.

I use 'CAPTAIN FIRESTAR' which costs you £2.50 and gives you about 40 minutes when dialled using 020 number.

Another 'Wildcard' costs you £1.00 and gives you around 20 mins but for KTM only.

Using these kind of cards, there are some tradeoffs.

Once I bought two of those captain cards, scratched and tried to make call and it said 'card is suspended'. But as I bought just nearby where I live, so I just exchanged for a new one.

These cards expire after some time once you use it. So, probably it's not a good idea if you hardly make a call.

Sometime you make a call once and if there is still credit left (for example 96 pennies), as it happened to me, you may not be able to make another call to Nepal and it may say 'you don't have enough credit'. But I could have called USA from here as calling USA from UK is like 1 penny/minute.

Sometimes you may not have good receptions.

I guess this is how all the calling cards like and if you know any other cards that you recommend, it'd be good idea to share here in this forum.

Thanks.
