Johnji,
Like always, your acute scrutiny of surroundings always amazes me! The description is just flawless!
I probably fall into the same category of not being favored by cards, nevertheless never stopped playing! Fun, those days were!

Welcome back! :o)

Smart kid, eh....!!! You remember each and every petty details for instance Mr. Aryal blinking his eyes three times every ten seconds, but fortunately (being ironical...), but deaf ear on such a crucial discussion. I like that....!!!

Those Jaw Dropping Faces must be worth watching.....

Interesting....

Smart Kid, eh...!!!

You pay careful attention on each and every petty details of the gatheing as Mr. Aryal blinking his eyes three times every ten seconds, fortunately (being ironical here...) had deaf ears on the critical part of the conversation. I like that....

Those Jaws Droppping Faces must be worth watching...

Interesting

(P.S--- Revised version- Please do not think this revison anything else. Just for my sake only)

Katrina,
By replying to this thread you assuaged the trauma you had created with your wrath last year, believe me, i had to flee. As far as the narration goes, i always wished i could extend it a little more. I often run out of words and readers - their patience.

Camoflagged,
I was never so good in cards so it must have so been that i'd have lost what i'd won. It has been some years now, I find it hard to recall the outcome.

Sndy,
Thanks, need some input to write longer stories.

Miracle,
Yes, I'd been busy with my studies and looking for jobs now that I have finally decided to graduate this year. Few other priorities have simply popped out from nowhere.

Mercury,
Yes indeed, I am not a deceptive metal like you, I often tend to vaporize and condense. This is a condensed phase, hence i made myself visible.

Flippy,
My narration is full of flaws, i always post it without editing enough, and then regret realizing my mistakes after visiting the posts of several vocabulatory maestros. And yes, alike you, i am a repeat offender in playing cards. Never gave up despite losing.

Sunny,
For some reason, i hate that "jwain sahab" term, it makes a simple relationship must more courteous and intricate.

Anon,
Marriage, or whatever terminology it has in other parts of a world is not really an esoteric game. It is so easy to lose.

lahurejyu,
Been sometime eh! Busy with your drills???
I have no idea if he was a sandhurst graduate, i never asked, but I know several others who have had the honor.

Quest,
I better not be a part of a discussion that evokes criticism and even tirades, I did not have deaf ears then, simply had zipped lips. I also pay attention to some other details, for instance, the absence of dear sajha members like you over a time.

Where were you????

I am intrigued, intrigued at your ability to narrate the delicate vibes that linger on the fringes of polite society, a society where much of the message is conveyed by a wink, a blink, an inhalation, a twitch, a smile and even silence--all camouflaged in a friendly game of cards.

As you can see, been practising my double resumptive modifiers, here! ;) Long time no see, sire!

And, what's up with the breed that graduates from Sandhurst, Lahure ji? Are they all as charming as you?! :)

Quick note to a short narration: Thoroughly enjoyed it, John!

Oh, I did not know that, till now, someone will notice my nick here in "Sajha Chautari "!!! I am flattered!!!

By the way, for me, deaf ears equivalent zipped lips. Hoina rah???

I was aestivating prior, and now on the way to hibernation. For the time being, I am in an autumn hiatus.

Good to see all vital members of Sajha as Sitara, Poonte, Snhrst Lahure and others.

Hyaa,
My apologies in taking some time to reply to this defunct thread, like I said earlier replying to someone, unforseen priorities suddenly become visible. I am honored that you enjoyed this otherwise succint and 'boring' anecdote, wish I could write a little more.

Sitarajyu,
Look who is talking! I was always around lurking, longing to read your awe-inspiring stories. It was you who left us bereft with your absence. And thaks for the the reply I find most benign of all, I have learnt it all from you maa'm.

Poontedai,
You have not been visible much either, what is going on? I thought you and Sitara together vowed not to visit Sajha again. I am pleased that you cared to read this brief anecdote. Thanks for visiting.

Quest,
Never heard about the autumn hibernations, is it done by butterflies? Anyway, I am glad that the recess is finally over.

I never miss your anecdotes.I'm still wondering how this one remained hidden from me for such a long time.A hero need not do wonderful things but needs to wonder at and appreciate the little things he does/sees.John you make me feel "Life is Beautiful"! Thank You.

catch-22,

Truthfully speaking, my stories are always worth revision, and constant editing. Finding a flaw after posting it online has been a routine, there always are more rooms to improvise. But if these stories make a worthwhile read, i must say I am flattered. There is no such prize as a humble admiration catch, you made me feel better.

There are lot of other things which make life beautiful, I certainly do not fall in that category, but yes, if I could make a single person read and smile at my anecdotes, the mission is accomplished.
