Man found dead inside burning GP store 12:05 PM CDT on Monday, April 10, 2006 From Staff Reports Fire crews found a man dead inside a burning Grand Prairie convenience store Monday morning, officials said. [Click image for a larger version] WFAA-TV WFAA-TV Fire crews worked to reach flames between the store's inner and outer roofs. Grand Prairie fire Lt. Allen McCollum said firefighters arrived about 8:40 a.m. to find smoke curling from the roof of Benny's Ice House in the 2600 block of East Pioneer Parkway at South Great Southwest Parkway. The blaze went to two alarms as crews struggled to reach flames between an inner and outer roof. McCollum said they were able to keep the structure from collapsing, and it has now been designated a crime scene due to the body inside. "They are trying to preserve as much of the scene as possible because of the investigation," he said. McCollum said no cause of death had been determined. The fire also remains under investigation, and a cause and damage estimate are unknown. The store was not scheduled to open until 10 a.m. It had a security system, but no alarm was reported in the hours before the fire began, he said. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/041106dnmetgpfire.2089f5ec.html

Are you serious uptowngirl, Mr. Koirala ( ex MP), who won the first election from Sindhuli, as makar tantra said. He use to be at boston, we had some drinks together, and as far as i know he was at somewhere in Texas. Wow, i couldn't still believe it. By the way he bears the same name as current minister but not related.

Yes, he is positively identified only at 2.30 pm by Dallas police. The dead body is of Prakash Koirala. He was about to go to Bank to deposit money from his business (Liquor Store), he got robbed by unidentified people, shot to dead him and set fire his store before getting away. This was a very unfortunate day for his family. His business (store) always open at around 10.00 am, but today, he had to deposit his some money to Bank, so he went to his store earlier. At that time, his doom day came. God bless his family!!!!!!!!!!

As there were two Prakash Koiralas and both MPs, I remember, Radio Nepal would read his name as "Prakash Koirala Sindhuli". He lost the selection parliamentary election. May his soul rest in peace!!
