If you like new-age music,try Enya ( Album: Memories of Trees). I was a heavy metal fan (Iron Maiden) and I still am. I have been listening to Enya since last three years(on the side).Heavy metal is an anti-thesis to new age music.

Movie: The Dancer Upstairs (2002) (Javier Bardem, Laura Morante) A story set in a South American country embroiled in a leftist insurgency. An ex-lawyer in pursuit of an elusive leftist revolutionary (like baburam and prachada). Under a given timeframe if he cant catch this revolutionairy, the military will take over the power and marshall law will be imposed in the country that will create havoc in this poor country.

Music..well if you like metal then iron maiden rules..i'd recommend that...about books well it depends...some like reading romantic mills and boon but thats mostly for gals like me, you could try some of sheldon's, jeffery archer's books..
