They better leave Iran alone and try to settle everything through diplomatic effort. US Military has already been exhausted with wars going on in Afganisthan and Iraq, and there is no end in sight to pull out of iraq. If they go to Iran, then drafting in the military would become mandatory. Even illegal foreigners will be granted assylum and be send to the war zone.

I CAN ALREADY SEE IRAQ AS ANOTHER VIETNAM......THERE YOU GO. IN A FEW YEARS YOU WILL SEE A LOTS OF IRAQIS IN THE US..OF COURSE WOMEN WITH BURQAS.

Bush and Condoleezza rice together are planning to invade Iran as soon as Iraq war is settled down. But the problem with Bush government is they can?t win the war on Iraq soon. Fighting guerilla war is not easy task; as Americans have acknowledged from Vietnam War. The top agenda of capturing Osama bin laden has not yet materialized. Moreover conflict with other countries like Cuba, Belarus, and North Korea etc might create headache to Bush administration. Even if Bush and Condoleezza administration prepare to invade Iran, it is impossible for Bush to get approval from Europe and NATO. No wonder bush is dreaming to attack Iran, it is virtually impossible to materialize his dream very soon.

Bush won't go alone to fight with Iranians. I think German and France will involve. I guess, there won't be war, but will go for diplomatic solutions.

It is not a ?hidden truth? that France has anti-Bush policy.This is unimaginable that France would cooperate with bush administration to attack Iran. But one should not forget; in politics everything is possible. We might see Jacques Chirac joining hands with Bush to invade Iran in distance future.

You know what...Bush cannot afford to go on a war with Iran after the casualties and loads of criticism he has been under. War in Iraq was a terrible mistake of the Bush administration and the filthiness of The American Foreign Policy that stinks....

America can never be safe anymore if this attitude sustains....

I have different understanding.

Afganistan war went very fast. Bush needed another war that could
last for some years, i.e. until end of 2004, in order to get successfully
elected in the election. He knew that the reason his father failed to
get elected in 1992 because Kuwait war was over in 46 days. So, they
needed a war and they attacked iraq.

Bush does not need next election, so no war for himself. Look at the
past elections in America, they were all based on war this way or that
way. Like Gandhi family in India, to hide domestic issues they go for
war outside world. Thats formula.

bush does not need war, but republican and right wing need it even
in next election. So, they will keep on bringing the issue of Iran to
hide domestic issues. It seems Bush will fire or Cheney will resign
in next two years. A new VP will come, then war issue will speed
up to get him elected. Right wing knows cheney is not a good
candidate for next election, so they will bring a candidate and
they will speed up the talk. ...

Lets see how things develop. American politics is purely
a war mugga politics, to get rid of burning domestic issues.
