If someone gets divorce in Nepal, how can it be validated in US? Pheri yeta pani file garnu parne ta hoina? It's simple answer who has gone through this process. Please help.

I am not an expert but I have seen once divorce case where someone i knew divorced (living in US as resident)in Nepal and presented the paper to the local county or something like that.

If you get divorced in the USA, and take the final divorce decree to the nepalese embassy in the USA to notarized it, it gets valid in Nepal too. But yes, property settlement back in nepal may still applicable though. Sharing the information based the experience on one of my brother's divorce.
