His own son Noor Prasad is the killer. He was asking money to end the hunger strike. What kind of son is he ? Trying to earn money by putting own parents on hunger strike ?

IT Guy, first of all, the news says Nanda prasad adhikari himself asked for 2 billion rupees, not his son asking money to make his father stop the hunger strike. 2nd thing, Do you really believe this bull shit what BamDev Gautam said? The corrupt person with absolutely no morality? Ofcourse Bamdev spoke after his death because Nandaprasad Adhikari is not there to defend the truth. 3rd thing, lets assume Mr. Adhikari infact said so. Asked the money to end his strike. Why is this coming to the surface now ? Why did not it come right that time when he was still alive? Why was this not brought up in the assembly table for discussion ? It would have been turned down had it been brought up for discussion but that was the correct way to do. Bamdev has lost every bit of respect, making joke of himself with this bullshit

Not sure if he is a martyr but be sure is a badass on my book. I believe he did ask for that money but for reasons different than what is being portrayed. Leader: Nanda jyu...so we know we can't do anything about your son's killer but if you stop your strike right now we might be able to compensate you with some cash consolation. Name your price and we will pay it. Mr. Adhikari: ok ... Pay me 2 Billion rupees. Leader: that's crazy man. You know we don't have that kind of money. You must be joking. Mr. Adhikari: You started it, a-hole. If he really wanted any money he would have made a reasonable demand, like few hundred thousands. How can you put a price to your son's death. I truly believe this is why he blurted out a ridiculous demand. Either that or you find my son's murderer.

The reason behind of demanding 2 Karod: is not a greed rather to compel government to choose justice not the compensation. People are confusing with the money he demanded. That was his tact and you sajha visitors are just acting up on his demand.
If he wanted money instead of justice he would have demanded 40-50 lakh and government would be agree to pay that much. He did not starve to death because he did not get 2 Karod, rather seek justice until his last breath. Shame on you Nepali and Nepal government.

"That was his tact and you sajha visitors are just acting up on his demand." Dude. You just paraphrased what I said (just one post above) and now claim we are "acting up on his demand?" Shame on us, really?

Its just a sad result of a cluster fk nepal is going through. The Maoist war, complexity of the peace treaty, weak government, and dollar hungry human rights workers who put their gun on Adhikari's shoulder to drop more dollars for themselves, and add the ignorance of a humble villager with a murdered son wanting revenge.

The Nepali government is responsible for his death. They should be charged with humanitarian violation, especially Bamdev Gautam.

I cannot believe this story of him asking the money. How in the world this thing did not came up before he died. I wonder if somebody kill your family and do anything. I know lot of us will have nothing to do where there is no law and security, but some people might fight back and very few will take the path of this person. For me this guy is a real hero. This guy died for his son, and for a cause.I wonder our politicians even know the meaning of humanity and even have a heart. This is one of the real sad story we all came across and this is one of the very inhuman fictional story our politician came up with. I wonder how you look in the mirror everyday Mr. politicians, of our country. You guys must be proud of yourself to be leaders of Nepal. God save our country and people from politicians like these. "As long as I have any choice, I will stay only in a country where political liberty, toleration, and equality of all citizens before the law are the rule"... Albert Einstein
