I have worked with one of the regional Community based Nepali Non profit organization for more than 3 years. You guys have never reached to us asking for talents. I can understand that the competition is open to everyone and anybody that is interested; if you want to call yourself with "Miss US - Nepal" than I argue for equal opportunity and participation from all around the States.

Here is an idea: 1) include one candidate from each of the 2 states (out of 55).
2) do a demographic study of Nepalese around US and provide a platform to those who wants to compete but can't because of various reasons.
3) Maybe try to organize your show in city of Chicago or Dallas or Denver, SF next time.
4) Reach out to Nepalese Communities in every states, ask them to promote.

@Ruben123 - Thank you so much for your comment. We always look for avenues to expand our horizons. As you know resources are always very limited in Nepali Community to organize these events and we appreciate any support we get. We have been trying to include participants from each states however, that depends on who applies from which state and if they are indeed selected for the grand finale. It is an equal opportunity and participation for all the states.
