KamalPokhari Bro,
You can fill this form to get details.
Whats your score in GRE?
You can check out the University website for details too.
•Scholarships are available for new students pursuing masters in MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM for 2 academic years. Dollars for Scholars are automatic renewable as you fulfill GPA requirement. Scholarship recipients are eligible for in-state tuition fees for 2 academic years.
•UHCL is among few Universities that offers MIS program that falls in STEM category. Consequently, if you are an international student, the MS/MIS graduate degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake qualifies you for 29 months of practical training period in the US.
•MIS program is open to all undergraduate majors.
The application deadline for Fall 2014 semester is April 15. Steps to apply online and apply scholarship: 1. For new application visit the following link and apply before April 15. I would recommend to apply ASAP.
2. As you apply, you get student ID. Use that student ID to fill scholarship application at priority deadline before April 15.
3. Standarized test should have the following score GRE (300 and above) / or GMAT (450 and above). As all documents are received by the final deadline date, your application will be considered for scholarship.
For any additional information, you may contact Dr. Naveed Saleem (Saleem@uhcl.edu), Chair, MIS Department, University of Houston-Clear Lake, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, TX 77058.
You can also contact me at following address.

Why do most Nepalese look only cheap universities? Many expensive but good university gives the assistanceship/scholarship for graduates.

Actually you are more likely to get assistantships in good universities, trust me. So instead of trying cheap universities, give a shot to better universities. Not necessarily Stanford, Harvard etc, but you can try the ones like Carnegie-Mellon, or State Universities like Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State etc. You can also try Univ of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which is known for its Computer Science program. I went to one of the above schools and all of my friends (all grad students) in Computer Science dept had graduate assistantships.

rajuhcl is right, but if somebody is really interested in going into IT field and lack of comp sic/it background is the obstacle, then he/she can fulfill the required courses in a community college or in the same college he/she went for undergrad. Since kamalpokhari already has an undergrad degree, probably a couple of semesters is suffice to complete the prerequisites. I would rather do that and aim for some good universities than looking into some cheap universities.

Here is my two cents: I have been to UHCL. It is a unranked university full of Indians and I assume Nepalese too( Nothing wrong with that ). Try Mississippi state University. It is lot better than UHCL. They give scholarships to good candidates rather than giving scholarship to anyone and anybody that has a below average scores.

Did you try Maharishi? they look good. Try San Jose State too, i don't know how much is the tuition there is but they are good if you are getting into IT field. If you just want to maintain the status, spend less, and learn some then go for ITU.
Good Luck Sathi... tapai ko finding hamilai ni share garnush!!
