Accommodation ??? Man I felt sorry for those people whom I saw living in really poor condition. There were about 10 ppl lying down on one floor. So talking about food and accommodation feels like everyone is just bullshitting. Can be said as refugee camp. Share some if you guys know too.

CavalierIT and [Disallowed String for - not allowed unless provide valid reasons for inclusion] are the consultancies that provide best accomodation, fooding, facilities like internet . My friends are in consultancies where you go and there is no bed no utensils nothing and above all no internet at all, they just give you an empty room. Many places provide food but either they just give u money and u have to manage ur self for doing grocery ( if u dont have car thats real pain) or buy cheap stuffs and give it you to eat. CavalierIT is in jersey city while [Disallowed String for - not allowed unless provide valid reasons for inclusion] is near Edison...

Don't forget the BED BUGS (Udus). Most of these indian consultency accomodations are infested with bed bugs. Once you live with bedbugs it will be very hard for you to stop bedbugs follow you. Do not fall for the free accomodation trap. Rather, find a friend and live with them and see if the consultancy will pay for your accomodation. Also, ask the consultancy to pay for the food. Usually free food means you buy the food, submit the expense and then get paid 30 days later.

I appreciate your concern but usually that happens at a place where people remain on bench after the training but at our end before they get done with their training they would be into a project and leaving the guest house. Our training is a project oriented training so no one would stay more than a month in our guest house.

Does your consultancy also provides stripper once a week, cause we Nepali boka are horny. And you gonna make 30/40 grand every year we bokas rub our balls in client place with fake resume, feeling we are guilty, feeling we don't want to go to work every other day, and eventually killing our self confidence for ever. You got to offer strippers for this much of compermise.

bed bugs is the big problem in the indian consultancies guest houses. I think they buy used mattress or get it out from trash, most of these houses are hunted by bed bugs. People get nightmares of bed bugs after years they left these guest houses. Mr nalin how about providing with hotels or motels for the students instead of these guest houses.

DO you guys offer onsite training sessin in the bay area... Like in sunnyvale, santa clara and palo alto area... If so then what are the classes you are offering... I am more on interested in datawarehousing... How long is the training and how much is the pay after you finish the training sessin... Would you be able to place around the bay area too after someone got done with the training!!!

The better option would be to have online training if the guesthouse is not to the standards coz motels and hotels would actually increase the expenditure for any company and ultimately they would not be comfortable in lending a supporting hand to the consultants. But our guesthouse is free from all such problems you were mentioning. Wish you guys a good luck !!

You guys provide food accomodation until the consultant is placed right.and how many people will be accomodated in one house can you brief up the things you provide to consultant...

You said free food?? are we talking about khasi masu? if yes, i'm in :)

Here are my few tips:
- 12 people live in two bedroom apartment
- Some experienced consultants who been working also live there to save money
- Neighbors also complaint about noise of 30 legs walking around floor.
- Full of bed bugs, personal egos (Nepal vs India, good country/ bad country etc)
- More south Indians talk in their regional language and mostly abuse their free minutes on phone
- Indians are given priority to be interviewed
- If you visit any Indian consultancy websites, you see only white/black Americans but apparently in real all desi work in that company.
- Once you get job consultancy receives $ 70.00 and hour and you will be paid around $20.00 an hour.
- I consider this is modern slavery.
- I suggest its good for any graduate take online classes, learn some IT and proceeds if he/she feels comfortable. It is not necessary to quit recent job and jump to live in those filthy apartments.
