I literally wept reading the recent blog by Rahulvai. I am very much amazed with his accomplishment given the adversity he faced in those years. He is a true fighter and I salute his spirit and devotion for the cause he holds as dear. I wish him success in all his future endeavors. Rahulvai, Keep walking and do not give up until you find what you were seeking from the beginningl.

The story was apparently written in two languages
Nepali and Hindi (mostly with a Bihari touch). It could only be accepted as a entertainment or seemingly inspirational piece of work but could never be uploaded into the mainstream Nepali literary arena.

If there were separate word processors available to check for language anamolies each processor would get confused at different points.

The readers so far seem to be inspired by your story though. Way to go;thumps up to you. Rahulvai!

One, to applaud Rahulvai for his struggle and courage and for touching so many people's hearts with them and, two, to applaud Ashu for his graceful applause to Rahulvai for the same.

And, just not to do injustice to other kind of moments, let me remind myself that this should not be a baggage for the genuinely divisive political moments we might have in future ;-)

You are the perfect role model for many young inspiring and talented kids back home who are struggling to balance their family struggle for daily needs and educational opportunity to explore hidden talents.

On the side note, I and my brother sponsor scholarship awards through our grandmothers educational foundation to 12 underprivileged students per year back in our district.

It touched my nerve when I was reading your story lines...."त्यो सुन को तक्मा पनि परिश्रम कै फल थियो, खुशी लाग्यो नै। मैले अर्जेको त्यो चौथो पदक् थियो।
साथमा महिना को ५० रुपैया को दर् ले छात्रब्रित्ती पनि दिए।

You as a great role model may want to think about opening an EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATIOIN which will inspire, support and help bright and talented underprivileged students in Nepal. Proposing to declare Rahulvai the Sajha Person of the Year 2064
=======================================
It is clear to me that Rahulvai is an embodiment of struggle, hopes and achievement of an ordinary person and that's why it is an extraordinary story which is beyond alll jeolousy, condescence and snobbery. While one may argue that his goals and achievements are entirely personal and therefore do not deserve to be applauded from a societal perspective, I still believe that he is a role model to so many people who have potential and dreams but not no hopes. Like Nilkantha, he drank poison to live and not die. Ashu appropriately acknowledged, his is a story of "raw authenticity". So, my suggestion is to declare him officially "The Sajha Person of the Year 2064" due to the following reasons:
(1) He is an ordinary person with extraordianry struggle, achievements and hopes.
(2) He believes in sharing his story to others to inspire them.
(3) He does not complain but tries to make the best of what he has. He shows there are choices in life and we can always choose the better ones.

Let us honor him so that he knows he is not alone in his fight and struggle. However, this is just a proposal and you may ignore or laugh at it.

(N.B.: Please be informed that I have no vested interest in proposing this. I do not even know his real name. I have no personal communication with him other than what I have posted here about him).

You are truly a very inspiring person. Thanks for sharing your story with us, and I'll pray for many more medals for you in the days to come. Even though it was very disheartening that you were not able to get your baba's medal back, you were able to make him proud of your continued achievements, and for him, I'm sure that was much more pleasant.
I wish your lifestory could be published in some national publications so others can learn to keep the faith just like you did all your life. I look forward to seeing more posts from you.

The most striking moment is when jubiliant Rahule arrives home after winning Quiz contest for ASCOL, he finds darkness at home.. What a contrast in his external and internal environments:
