So guys, football season is almost here. Who do you think will be this year BCS finalist? Any early Heisman favorite? Here are my predictions. Michigan Wolverine (although I love Buckeyes) will play West Virginia Mountaineers in the BCS final and Steve Slaton (RB) from West Virginia will win the Heisman. What you all think?

What ever happened to PennState Nittany Lions? They were formidable back in 90's, now you hardly hear of them. Joe Pa got too old.

Interesting. But like I said before, SEC team have a slim chance to play the title game. About USC, I see them playing for the other BCS bowl game but not the title game. Good link though LSU_Tiger.

Big ten, pac 10, weakest conference ever, from top to bottom. Any other conference in the entire nation doesnot comes even close to the power and depth of the SEC. SEC Rules!

Auburn has a tough road scedule, but it's their turn. Since 2000 (at least), Auburn and LSU have alternated having the tough road games. Last year LSU had road games against Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas. This year Auburn gets those teams on the road (switching Georgia for Tennessee). So every other year LSU or Auburn has had the inside track to win the West (though Arkansas did win a couple of times Auburn should have, like last year). I wish Aburn luck in all their games !

How can you say that Pac 10 and Big ten are weak conference? 2002 Champ- OSU Buckyees Big 10 2003 champ - USC pac10 (Shared with LSU) 2004 champ - USC pac 10 2005 runnerup - USC pac 10 2006 runnerup - Buckyees Big 10. Agreed that SEC is tough but there are lots of othe weak conference than Pac 10 and Big 10. ACC for example is getting weak while Big East is rising.

The SEC is the most dominant football conference. Argument 1: Fans argue that the SEC beats each other up week in and week out. This is true. FACE IT. It is very difficult to go undefeated in any of the major conferences. Some say the SEC whines about this at BCS time. The only whining I hear is the SEC elite's bowl opponents after a whoopin' STRENGTH + SPEED=DOMINANCE. Atmosphere--game day in SEC Argument 2: If you've never seen the War Eagle swoop onto the 50 of Pat Dye Field @Jordan-Hare or seen the Vols run through the T in front of >100K @ Rocky Top or sweated in the heat of the Gator Chomp in the Swamp or tailgated in the Grove or rang a cowbell in Starkvegas or walked on hallowed Bear land or been between the hedges or been in Death Valley under the lights, YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!
