1. This is a Nepali site, let us promote Nepali Film instead. If you never support our industry, what do expect? You always complain the quality is bad? If we pour our money in it, it will take off slowly. Common sense. 2. This particular movie is NOT a Bollywood movie. It is made by a white guy, everybody behind the screen with the brains are whites. Of course it is about India and there were few chessy Bollywood actors. Still the force behind its success were white. Technically this is a Hollywhood movie. 3. Bollywood still sucks. I hope this becomes a wake up call to their industry that inorder for the rest of the world to acccept their standard, there should be a "common sense". The award was a clear statement that if you make something that the rest of the world will understand, we'll put it on the list. 4. By that account, Nepal has also been nominated for Oscar (infact we were the favorite) for the movie "Caravan" or "The Himalaya". You might be saying, NOWAY, it was a foreigner (French), we can never make movies of that standard. Well exactly, it the same for this movie.

Even though this is a Nepali site and we should do our best to promote nepali movies etc,
people have their own opinions and tastes which they wish to follow and we cannot say no to that unfortunately. After all even with movies like Slumdog Millionaire, as a viewer we should learn about appreciating talent and also about the movie itself and hopefully these slums wont develop in Nepal at a large scale.
Kathmandu should be prepared for the large amount of people coming in from the rural areas and the government should learn to handle these problems because if the inflow is to great then large scale slums will generate in Kathmandu which consequently will increase crime, pollution and all sorts as you have seen in the movie.
Do the movie a justice and go watch it in the cinema.

I didn't know that just a movie which I found quite entertaining, could stir up such "Petriotic" comments from some people who are supposedly higly sympathetic towards our Nepali film industry .No wonder we like to politicize any issues available infront of us.....Unbelievable!!!
