Friends,
I am trying to compile great songs from 80's and 90's in this thread. I believe, most of us have grown up listening to songs from this generation. Please help me compiling by posting songs of your choice. Any genre is welcome.

Let me do the first honor by including this song called "Careless Whisper" by WHAM. WHAM was a band of two talented artists: George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, before they decided to split later on.

This song is dear to me and always will be because it was the first english song that my tiny ears as a kid listened to, and boy what a song it was to start with.

a few minutes into the careless whisper video, and i knew that george michael has gotta be gay. (not that there's anythig wrong with it, as seinfeld would say). it's just that he himelself and others took so long to really know it for sure. he also kinda looks like the indian comic johnny lever at times.

also, on that springsteen video, the boss' face is as smooth as a newborn baby's bottom. didja notice that the drummer is acually max weinberg from the late night show with conan o'brien? the girl springsteen ends up dancing with is a younger courtney cox (from friends)....

One of my favorites --Eric Clapton, arguably the greatest guitarists ever.

Tears in Heaven

Brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen to it. Actually this song was tribute to his own son who died at an early age... Check the lyrics, it is so heart-rending.
