Thanks everyone for the feedback on the Beta 1 version of this software.

I have now teamed up with a linguist and have set up a public project for this. Please be a part of this project.

We've now released Beta 2:

With your participation, we hope to make this an exciting and useful project.

The earlier discussion on Beta 1 can be found here:

Thanks everyone for your comments and for taking part in the project... Our words database is growing every day, and we are going to release a new build every day for now. We will also try to incorporate any suggestions you may have. Please keep adding new words. It sounds like we're doing a right thing! :-)

The "[" "]" are already used for temporarily turning off the 'Smart Converter'. Any other key? We would like to have something that is somehow visually indicative of the letter produced, which is why we picked ^ and *.

Ocean,

Thanks. I will talk to our linguist about that.

But in the meantime, could you please tell us what letters you have on your keyboard that are on the SHIFT to the numbers (1, 2, 3, etc)... all the way on that row?

Thanks!

ok Kalanki and others,

I am having trouble remembering but as far as I can recall, "garyo" should be written like "गर्र्यो" but without the "ref" on "yo". Otherwise, we have two half-r's, which does not make sense.

Is that correct?

What more,

That was just an example. I don't remember how to write garyo, but as far as I remember, paryo is पर्‍यो. Another example, Ryaal is र्‍याल. The problem is it types "ref" on "yo" as well as the "dash" thing.

Just addressing it so that it will be easier for Echoes bro to fix it. It might have went unnoticed, but I believe, someone pointing it out makes it easier for a betterment of the software... :D

Thanks.

Since you assigned "gya = ज्ञ", the ग and half ग (ग्लास) got totally messed up... :O bhaagyo jaagyo naagyo maagyo = भाज्ञो जाज्ञो नाज्ञो माज्ञो respectively.. eh... Nahiiii!!! :D

Tyo end ma khutta katne pani raakhum na... eh.. Geet lekhda kaam lagcha... like
भन्छन् na ma khutta kaating at the end... Thanks. :D
