Good that you are in SF. Love that city. It's a great place for so many fine things. Are you into the California wine scene by any chance?

TL- Nanu says hi...she's one active girl...and a non-stop chatter-box...keeps us all entertained and busy..:-)
As for Water...Deepa Mehta seems to have done a fabulous job bringing the story to life... her cinematography,story-depiction, to her choice of actors....i'm in loss of words...Though the story-line was doleful, it was so beautifully portrayed into the cinema...Just like you I had the movie playing in my head for couple of days..and I'm thankful I was born to this era, and my family:-) Btw, in spite of all the beauty in the cinema, the book sure seems to possess a greater charm to it..a must read..i'd say:-)

Juggy - Phew, I finally got you talking. You dont know how long I have waited years to engage you in conversation. You seem to make one post and then vanish for days! What's with that? How can we run a cafe when the Commander-in-Chef keeps running away and we have to send out a search party to find him? ha ha ha BTW, you should post some pictures of Belgian cafes here - it will be fun to check them out.

SNDY Ma'am - You're back! Busy day today, huh? How's the boss? Can he read this re kya ...LOL!! Will stop there before I get you into any more trouble. In case he is reading, SNDY says you are a very nice boss. How about you give her a raise and promotion - she deserves it ... LOL!!!

Avani - I am with you there. I find reading a book a much more rewarding experience than watching the same thing in movie. I guess its the whole things about things being left to your own imagination rather than that of the director. I suppose we find our own imaginations more savory than those of others.

Talking about bosses, mine wants me in his office right now

Juggy - I think it is a bit too early to start "Sparrow's -I-Am-Busy-With-Tests-(Again)-Corp.-- ". Just wait for a month. Then the corporation will run with the full flow. Anyways great job as usual. I wish I was even half good as you are.


TL - airfare ko save bhako paila le Cafe ko sabai member lai party hoina ta aba? And of course I will be the chief guest in that ocassion. How about that?

Captain--you should meet one of my co-workers..when I suggested watching Water..she said.."I don't like watching movies based on novels/books.." It diminshes the effect..or smth on that line she said...And I do agree with her on that...I guess as you said..when you read a book you are free to imagine and create your own motion picture out of it..:-)

My bosses must have figured out I was getting bored by the amount of typing they must have heard over my cube walls ... ha ha ha. I wouldn't be typing that fast and furious if I was working they must have thought

Where is Brig Ma'am today? Seems super busy. And Flips too. Lemony and Loote have vanished as well. Cafe is not doing good business today that means ...
